Where should I go from here?

Hello all,

I recently took the June 2022 Test and am not pleased with my score. Compared to my other test in January I did improve but only by 3 points. 133-136. I know not the best and a bad score. But my score I need is only a 146. So I’m 10 points off.

By this fall, I’m starting a career job, and all. But I am contemplating a retake for a third test in the future.

I need advice though: should I wait and study longer? Since this last test I studied from February to Early June so almost 4 months. But this time should I take 8-12 months instead? Also, what other strategies would anyone recommend this time around? Mix of 7Sage, Books and a tutor?

Again, I think I am going to take a 2-3 week break to strategize a new plan with any advice y’all can give me and hit the ground running in August/early September

Thanks.

Tips on Improving Logic Games ASAP!

Hello all,

I was wondering if anybody could give me advice on Logic Games. I’ve been taking PTs everyday since April 11. And my test date is June 11. I’ve been seeing a slow incline and sometimes I’ll stagnate in scores. But I think it’s because my LG section is always really poor and it brings down my score.

Are their any strategies y’all would reccomend me do? Should I focus on LG during the week and then take PTs on the weekend?

Since my Best score so far on PTs is just shy of 8 points of my target score for the school I am looking at. So I think if I can just improve on LG section, then I’ll be able to get it on test day.

*PS, any of y’all watching the new season of Better Call Saul so far? Cuz I’m loving it! Haha

what I have done after getting off work is chug a red bull and go straight into it. The caffeine gives ya a extra boost of focusing in for the PT

Yah I’ve been drilling PTs nonstop for over a week and a half now. And I’ve seen steady improvements. Beginning of last week I was at a 132 and tonight I just broke a 139. So I’m starting to see a slow and steady upward incline!

my advice: Coming from someone who is "decent" at Logical Reasoning. My strength is Reading Comprehension, and my worst section is Logical Games. I would say you just got to keep drilling it into your head everyday. Little by little, and over time it will start to become easier and you will start to see patterns and trends in question and answers.

Went up again! 138!

To give some backstory: I have taken the LSAT last month and got a 133. I know not the greatest but I’m wanting to improve. I just took PT 84 and got the exact same score. I have just started practicing again every day for 2.5-3 hrs a day. I am using a mix of 7Sage Study Plan/Course and Khan Academy for drills.

If anyone has any other studying techniques that might help me improve more or helpful tips I am interested in anything.

Thanks for getting back! Last night I took another PT. Specifically PT 37, and went up by 6 points from my other test on Sunday. From a 131 to a 137. Which positions me about roughly 8-10 points shy of my desired score for the school I am looking at.

I will keep your advice in mind too! As I keep going through these PTs.

Need Advice! For PTs and June 2022 test

I am about 75% done with the core Curriculum. I have to go back and finish some of the LR practice problem sets. I’ve been doing the CC since second week of February, and been grinding non stop studying each of these sections. I started taking PTs again this weekend. And literally didn’t improve but went down in score. Has this been happening to anybody else? Since not only has my morale gone down now. I’m starting to panic With test date being June 11. And I can’t even break into the 140s yet. With the score I need for my score being a 146-148.

Any advice would super appreciated!

This was really inspiring to myself, as someone who scored a 133 on their first diagnostic and first LSAT test. A 162 is a score I am really shooting for although a 148 is the score I need to get into the law school I want. But your story really rejuvenated my motivation to keep going for my test in June. As someone who is doing the main core curriculum and Khan Academy.

Would you recommend in the core curriculum, say like I am still doing Logical Reasoning section of it, it is my last week of it and then I start to go into Logic Games. On Khan Academy should I just focus on Logical Reasoning since that is what I am doing right now. Or still mix it up and do logical games and reading comprehension?

Thank you so much!

Target score is a 148-150. Since that’s what I need for the school I was looking at. But I’m challenging myself to see if I can hit a 161/2

PS: Sorry for the delayed response works been killing me lol.
