Bubbling Strategy

Forgive me if this has already been covered, but I'm curious about different bubbling strategies. Any advice? I usually bubble before I turn the page--so after a full passage in RC, a full game in LG, and about 7 questions in LR--and then, after the 5 minute warning, I bubble after every question. It's such an important aspect of the test that I think gets overlooked. Any new ideas/strategies would be greatly appreciated!

I am not a fan of annotating the passages in RC. I try to write as little as possible. A few words, maybe a brief sentence at the end of each paragraph. I really think the memory method is way better than annotating the passage. I took a Blueprint course, which had us learn a ton of annotations: circle abstruse words, underline conclusions, keep track of examples, etc. In my opinion, that is a massive waste of time. It takes less time to re-read an entire paragraph than it does to heavily annotate one. Read closely, but work on your ability to keep everything in your head.

The graded RC was for sure about an African-American artist, the taxation of video game market exchanges, athleticism, and mirrors.

I thought the test was fair overall, although they stuck a massive, 8 question RC passage at the end, and one of the grouping games, I think number 3, was super time-consuming. Thankfully, I kept hearing JY in my head telling me to skip questions. I luckily looked at the last two RC passages, and chose to do the last one before the third one. Similarly, I skipped the third game after answering the two "easy" questions. The last game was an easy one, so, although I had to guess on three of the questions on that third game, I still think I minimized the damage by being willing to skip stuff. There was also one LR section (I had three) where literally almost every answer I marked was either D or E. It kind of messed with my head a little. I don't know how far LSAC is willing to go to mess with people, but that seems kind of crazy. I wonder if they switch around the correct answer choices when they release the tests. Also, there were some really funky LR questions on one of my sections, and it seems like they are moving toward making the answer choices way more subtle than on previous tests. I could be wrong, but I feel like there are way more attractive trap answer choices, and they are hiding the correct answer more subtly on the last few tests. Anyway, the only thing that felt odd about the test was LR, but that was my experimental, so who knows. Everything else was pretty standard. Thankfully, three of the RC passages were actually very interesting, which was a first for me.

I always do the MP question last. I think it helps to have already answered some specific questions before picking between those subtle MP answer choices. I have a better overall feel for the passage after answering all the other questions. I'm sure this isn't true for everyone, though.

Thanks guys. One of the many problems I have is my lack of intuition in terms of when to hit the questions. JY seems to know intuitively when it's going to be a rule-based game or a scenarios game. A lot of the difficult games are rule-based. On those games, I will often trying running through scenarios--and getting nowhere--then, by the time I hit the questions, I basically don't have time to brute force my way through answer choices. On the other hand, in games where there is a pivotal inference that leads to, say, four scenarios, in which all possible worlds are accounted for, I will hit the questions first and struggle that way. I always seem to get it wrong. I know it comes with time. Since there are only a few days before the exam, and since most, if not all, of my incorrect answer choices come in the last two games, I'm considering scanning the last two games, and trying to make sure I get 100% on at least one of them. That way, worst case scenario, I get -5 or -6. Any thoughts if this is a good idea? It's basically damage control at this point.

LG is killing me. Please Help!

I scored 165 of PT 68 today, and I got -10 on games. This is so frustrating. I just can't seem to break through. The instruction is great, and I drill the games all the time, I just get so thrown off when I see something new and unfamiliar on a fresh PT. Is there ANYTHING I can do over the next six days to fix this? Any strategy to at least minimize the damage?
