I'm confused with A and D. It seems that D is eliminated for being too broad, but by the same reasoning wouldn't A be too broad as well? After all, they are supported by the same examples?#help

For A, I was thinking that if at the moment, only 1% is being used, the people are trampling on the areas not in use, so it wouldn't matter since there are no butterflies there.
