Retake a 176 for T3 and T6 merit scholarships?

STEM major in one of the top tech institutions but no CAS GPA before December (haven't reached 60 credit hours). Cumulative GPA is 4.2 out of 4.3. Not a US citizen.

This is my second take. First one was in April, 174. PT-ing 175-180, average 178 ish.

My mom is so upset, I can't even believe it. help

Edit: I'm sorry if this post makes anyone unhappy. I know I should be satisfied with a 174 or 176. And I am. Family pressure for absolute perfection is another story, though. My mom is literally asking me to forget about law school. Go to work as a software engineer, she says. I am so sad.

Don't worry too much about it. This happened to me too on my first LSAT. I went completely on autopilot during the test, and forgot everything that happened in the 1h45mins. Turned out I scored higher than I have ever scored in PTs. So, really, don't worry too much.

That said, I'm going to take my second (and last) LSAT tomorrow... Fingers crossed that it goes well.

Ah! Thank you! This makes me feel a bit better. I hope that’s the case for me too. Best of luck to you!

Thanks! Best of luck to you too

@ jw, if you outscored all your PTs on your first take, why did you take again?

I didn't prepare for it for too long before the first take and so wanted to have a better shot (aiming for scholarships)

@

Today was my first lsat and I feel like I blacked out. I have no recollection of the test. I think I must have done it on auto-pilot. No idea how I did. Is this normal?? Such a weird experience. Like that feeling when you’ve been driving a while and suddenly you realize you’ve been zoned out the whole time but somehow you’ve been driving fine and end up at your destination. I’ve taken a ton of PT’s and never have complete amnesia after the test. Reading some of the other comments here is the only way some memory of the test is coming back to me. Can’t tell if this is a bad sign! Anyway, praying I don’t have to sit for another test!

As a physics major, I really cruised this article (almost skipped the entire paragraph on entropy) and chose confidently in every question, zero errors. Then I was astounded to see that this passage is ranked as the 'hardest'. I guess outside knowledge REALLY does affect RC performance, considering that I am really not good at RC...

Feel free to duplicate and use as an aid in reviewing!

Each database includes a Default (Kanban) view to track how many times you have reviewed each problem, and a table view where you can sort problems by the reason you made the mistake. Each table also has a column for you to note important takeaways you noticed when reviewing the problems.

I hope this will be useful for some of you!

I had a migraine during my test and I feel genuinely lucky that I did not bomb it nonetheless. I PT-ed around 171, so it was truly lucky for me. However, since I was not in my best state during the test, and I only prepped for a short amount of time, I thought that it would be worth a shot to score a few more points. Aiming for merit-based scholarships, so would probably need a strong enough score.

interested! I got a 174 in the April Flex, and aiming for 177+ in the June Flex.
