royaimani:

I would also say review fundamentals. I took a class and got books, but took many gaps in studying. So, when I began studying again I had lost a lot of the fundamentals. After reviewing them my score has increased again. For example, every practice test I was missing about 4-6 points on assumption questions; after getting tired of banging my head on the wall with the same problem, I went back and reviewed and I realized that I had forgotten the difference between a necessary and a sufficient assumption and tools that I can use to help me with necessary assumptions. Since reviewing them, I rarely miss assumption questions. Moral to my rant, sometimes when you have been studying for a longer period of time or have taken a gap in studying, you may have to go back look at the basics again. I know it sounds crazy, but I started off last year scoring around the early 150s, and have since reviewed fundamentals and have score between 162-172; most times 167 and up.

Keep chugging along. You will get there.

It is saying that if X builds Y, then it must also build Z take out the negative language on this one.

(X-->Y)--> (X-->Y&Z)

The contrapositive of the statement is, if X does not build Z then it does not build Y.

I hope this helps a little.

Yes, I'm beginning tomorrow. Thanks this is helpful. I have 14 day money back guarantee; I'll see based on a few lessons if too much overlap occurs.

licknee10, glad to see that I am in the same boat. I will be starting from tomorrow until February. I however have done a bit of prep outside of my my prep class, and was hitting 172-173 and my score began to plummet within a week and a half of the December test (162-167), so I am not going to chance it. Did you feel like there was too much overlap in the material, strategies here versus the prep company (I took Powerscore)? I am just a bit worried about spending money and getting a lot of the same material or information-which we know time is a very rare commodity when it comes to studying for the LSAT.

Hey,

I may be willing to. I just decided today to cancel my December registration for February. My score ranges from 162-172, so the uncertainty was too much. I will email you in a couple of days when I come to terms with my decision.
