Anyone else get hung up on the fact that they never identify Tagowa as a witness.....she could be a scientist giving expert testimony for all we know. That made me think A was a trap and go with E instead. Sigh

@ I'm not sure tbh. My internet works fine like 90% of the time, but I've never had any issue with practice tests or running software that requires internet on my computer. It seemed like the first time was an issue on my end, but after that, my computer showed that I was connected to the internet and it still kicked me out twice. Just wanted to give a general warning that even if you think your internet can handle it, it might be worth temporarily increasing your speeds to avoid any headache!

ProctorU/LSAT kicked me out 3 times -- HIGHLY recommend upgrading your internet speed as the software seemed incredibly sensitive to any changes in connection speed even when I didn't lose connection.

Bad connectivity issues despite the fact that I almost never have wifi problems. I got kicked out of the test 3 separate times even though for the last 2, my connection was stable. I recommend upgrading your internet just in case since ProctorU/LSAC seemed especially volatile to anyyyy changes in connection speed.

I had major issues!! My internet stopped working and I got booted out of the test, I switched networks, and then even though my network was stable from then on, I got booted out twice more. The proctor eventually had me restart my computer which I'm really nervous will automatically have my test cancelled since the video monitoring would have stopped? Though hopefully since they were the ones who suggested it, that won't be the case?

Advice on pushing from mid-160s to 170 for August LSAT

I've been studying for about 5 months and am taking the August LSAT. I've gone from a 156 diagnostic to solid mid-160 PTs using Mike Kim's LSAT Trainer in tandem with 7Sage explanation videos and analytics.

I recently got two scores of 168, was feeling really close to reaching my goal of 170+, but on the last two PTs I missed a lot on LR and fell back down to 165 and 163, respectively. I'm especially nervous because I had no idea that I was bombing LR and actually felt pretty confident.

Any tips for sharpening my LR in this last month push?

(I have a full-time job and am currently devoting 10-15 hours a week to studying; an expensive tutor isn't an option)

Thanks in advance!

I don't totally understand how, in AC E, focusing on difficulties of succeeding translates into succeeding less. It felt like too big of an assumption. Lots of people have low self-esteem or are pessimistic and are still high achievers.

The biggest thing for me has been getting at least 2 hours in in the morning, usually from 7-9 before I start work (obviously easier if you work remotely and don't have any commute time). That way even if something comes up in the evening or I need to work late or am just too tired, I feel good about having gotten a few solid hours in!

@ My biggest tip is get it done early!! Getting like 2 hours in in the morning before work made it feel really manageable because even if I didn't have any energy in the evening to study, I'd already gotten some good focused time in for the day.

Anyone who took the August test and is retaking in October willing to share their study schedule for the next month? Bonus points if you work full time.

I was PTing in the high 160s-low 170s, got a 164 on the August test. Returning to studying after taking a few weeks off and struggling to come up with a schedule/strategy that will help get me a 168 or higher in October while working full time without burning out.

ALSO, if you are a tutor or know anyone who will tutor me for a few hours a week at a reasonable price (~$50/hour), hmu.
