gahh! i read this problem as mined before consumed. So the total amount would be amount mined before any consumption and what was or wasn't consumed would not affect the numbers.

Should i generally expect the LSAT to specifically state "before" or descriptions of such because this question kind of leaves it open to interpretation.

Any one with a good explanation???

So we have a week left to get ready and I was planning on using my last week to complete PT 50-60(thats as far as i will have gotten). Are the newer PT's significantly different that i should be focusing on them instead of just completing up to PT 60 for the exam?

I am consistently getting perfect on the LG's and my LRs' are between -16 to -5 (least to most recent) and RC are between -8 to -4

So, is any section on the newer PTs harder that i should be prepping with those instead?

I ask this question because obviously on analysis questions you are supposed to analyze for the strength/validity of the argument and you can often find flaws with it. However certain other questions need you just to figure out the structure and describe or something like that. Whenever i do these questions, i still try to see the argument and try to figure out if it has any flaws and or how to make it a valid argument. Is that a good idea? or is it a waste of time since those kinds of questions would have "perfect" arguments.

If the best managers are removed from high revenue products and the product still maintains its profitability then it further confirms that contrary to current practices, we can and should remove them in favor of new product lines where their talent is required.

Ahhhhh!! answer choice D is still consistent with the argument...

hormonal imbalances can cause diseases so it doesn't matter that they are not a medical condition because they could still cause diseases even if the imbalances are not a medical condition.

Necessary Condition not failed!!

Trying to explain this to understand it better...

Fishes immediately downstream of a river have reproductive abnormalities. One cause is X which Factory is releases into the water daily and X alters hormones(so it can cause reproductive abnormalities) but author argues, factory dumping X is not the cause of reproductive abnormalities because 1.fish recovers quickly when factory stops dumping 2.X decomposes very slowly when it is released.

Explanation

River current carries X far downstream(i.e gets to the fish, infects it, and keeps flowing on) so when factory shuts down, fish comes in contact with remaining dioxin AS it flows downstream thus their ability to quickly recover then. However when factory starts beck up, fish gets dioxin constantly from daily dumping and this might be the cause of the reproductive abnormalities after all.

Problems with Second LR Set

I don't know if anyone has this problem but whenever i take the test which ever LR i do first i get -5/6 on but when i do the second set i get -14wrong. It keeps happening during my prep and when i looked back at my lsat sept score i had the same problem. Does anyone have this problem and/or know why/how to fix it?

Guys, can i just say, bombing a test with y'all makes it somewhat more bearable. I guessed on the last few Qs of both LG games and with LG being my perfect section i felt doomed. I left the test center and i just went blank...i completely ignored that part of my life and moved on to other things, trying not to process or even admit what just happened. I came on here this morning and just reading how so many people felt something similar is finally helping me process and actually feel not as horrible as i felt after yesterday. Oh Gosh...time to process...

Anyways, i wanted to say regardless of whatever happens, i am so glad for the 7sage community we have, you guys rock!!!

P.S and i'll probably be seeing more of you if i have to retake the test(which is very likely) but hell is a lot better to go through with y'all!

Hi! i was just asking the same question for monday's exam!

I would say, if you have time to go through all of them, start with 35 and go all the way, it really helps to build your skills before you get to the later PTs which are different but is still based on the same foundational skills. If your schedule wont permit it, still start with a few from the lower sections and concentrate more on 50+ up because those PT's are a little different from older PTs.

Confirm action

Are you sure?
