I believe another person also might have asked this but, I can understand why AC: A,C,D, and E are all incorrect although I don't understand how B is correct.

The passage states that the wells are drilled into "Porous and Permeable rock" so according to answer choice B in order to reach said permeable rock they would have to drill through a layer of impermeable rock. How is this possible? Am I misinterpreting the question/answer choice or is it simply just process of elimination and answer choice B is the least wrong? #help#feedback
