This is very helpful, thanks.
1. Unless we drive out the poachers, none of the pandas that relocated to this part of the forest will prosper.
The exception is indicated with "unless". In this example, the rule follows the exception.
"None" is a group 4 (negate necesity) indicator. So the two ideas we have are (pandas that relocated to this part of the forest) and (prosper).
So the rule can be: relocated > /prosper or prosper > /relocate
Then we should ask ourselves, are we inside or outside the exception? Are we poachers (inside) or not poachers (outside). If we are poachers, the rule doesn't apply to us because we are apart of the exception. If we are not poachers, then the rule applies to us because we are not apart of the excused category (poachers).
Reminder: group 4 (negate necessary) indicators are: no, none, not both, cannot
This helps a lot. This is exactly what I did without realizing that I went through the extra step of taking the contrapositive. The video doesn't make it obvious that this is how its done.
I am interested as well!
Is there a small assumption in C being made that by impairing their ability to communicate is the same as damaging their hearing loss?
