Hey guys. If you're using Pacifico's LG strategy are you supposed to watch JY's video explanation of the answer choices OR just the way he set it up etc. after your 1st attempt, before taking out your 2nd copy to attempt?

Oh that's good to hear. I planned on taking it in April or May if it's being offered then. I'm not sure yet when it's being offered past April.
Thanks for much for the response! That makes me feel a lot better. Yes, I did do that with LG but took a break to focus on RC and it really showed with me PTs. I'm going to go back to doing LG 1-35 and really solidify my understanding and not move on until I do. Do you mind me asking you started school in the fall of 2020 after taking it in July? Obviously T15 schools most likely won't have room that late in the cycle but it gives me hope for small schools that I am aiming for and not having to delay again.
Well I'm actually applying to some local schools by me that accept applications up until the end of July for the current cycle.
I have yes. I think when it comes time for the PT, I blank and everything I learned, especially with LR seems to go out the window. I definitely have to get my timing down more as well. I feel like I rush and that doesn't help in the slightest.
Hey everyone, this may be an odd post but I needed to get it out there since reading through different peoples goals/expectations can be taxing and pretty daunting. "If I don't apply at this time I have no shot, if I don't get this score with my GPA I have no shot" etc., you get the point. So I currently work at a law firm and pretty much have a solid job opportunity post Law School. So I don't need a 170 + to even have a chance and care to apply to schools, nor do I absolutely have to get a scholarship in any way. I'm actually aiming for the more realistic score of around 153-155 which would allow me to attend a school close to me, Philadelphia area and still work if I'm able. It's not a must. So I would appreciate any tips on what I should really go heavy on with drilling etc. to get in that score range. I'm currently scoring around 146 but just need that extra bump. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone!
Hey guys, if it isn't too late I'd love to join the group as well.
Hey guys. So I recently got to the Logic Games section of the CC and needless to say its rough. So I have been doing the Problem Sets, which is only a few but I know I need more work and a ton more Fool Proofing to do. I understand the LG Bundle is only available via the Ultimate + and I wanted to get some peoples opinions on how much that has helped them etc. I'd like to be able to get done with the CC before I start Fool Proofing because of the concepts being so new to me right now and I don't have a grasp on the different kinds of games right now so I'd be watching JY's videos and then fool proofing for most of them and I feel like I wont learn that way. If anyone has any opinion on this matter please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
Hey guys, I also recently got approved for testing accommodations for the LSAT which entails 50% additional test time on all multiple choice sections and a 15 minute break after sections 1,2,4,5 and a 30 minute break after section 3. I was wondering your opinion on PT's and problem sets and how I should be doing them with these accommodations. I assume I should take the PT's under these conditions but also am considering "normal" or "a little more time than normal" to give myself plenty of time at the end of each section just in case. Any tips/strategies you would recommend during my practice would be so appreciated. Whether that is giving myself say 5 1/2 minutes to read the passages instead of 4 etc, etc.
Since I am on the logic game section right now I was wondering what you think I should be giving myself time wise to do the problem sets and any other drilling I may do. Whether that be per question or per set etc.
Please let me know how you feel is the best way for me to prepare under these conditions. And also please don't hesitate to ask me for any more details you may need in answering my questions. Thank you very much.
oh those were both very informative answers! Thank you so much!
Hey everyone, I planned on purchasing the Ultimate+ month by month course but was wondering what the Bundle Prep Plus is and if it is worth adding to my purchase? Does it provide anything else worth purchasing? Thanks everyone!
Hello, any chance I could get a link for the quizlet as well? You're analysis of loophole is presented so well, the more that can help the better! Thank you very much!
See you there. Can't wait
oh ok thanks guys! yeah that makes perfect sense
Oh wow thank you so much man! That's such a good idea! I'll be doing that for sure.
Hey everyone, so I'm having some trouble with the valid/invalid section of the core curriculum. I know I need to make flashcards but I feel like I've made them wrong by putting the "premises and conclusion" on the front and then on the back whether "valid or invalid." I feel like that is not very helpful to determining the inferences. Does anyone have any suggestions of how they did their flashcards or how I should be presenting valid/invalid on flashcards. I can't really move on per-se until these forms have been engrained in my brain. Thanks everyone.
Hey guys. I recently got to the Grouping Games section of the CC and am moving through them decently. I'm doing my fool proofing and everything and was just wondering if I should be putting these games that I am doing via the CC into my tracker on excel? I assume I should be in order to keep track of them, but also am wondering if it's hurting me because the 2nd attempt of them, which I do right after is almost guaranteed to at least be 6/7 correct. So I'm really just wondering if I'm cheating myself ultimately by doing this? So one of my main questions is should I be utilizing the tracker mainly once I am done the CC LG sections or begin to do that as I am going through the CC? Thanks
Hey guys,
I just had a general question regarding PT's. So if I wanted to take a 5 section PT, how would I go about adding another section to the PT? For example the PT's within the curriculum only have 4 sections in them and I was confused the other day because there is a 5 section proctor available but all of the PT's are only 4 sections. I don't know if I am asking a pretty obvious question but I couldn't figure out how to simulate 5 sections like i'll need to do test day. Thanks guys and any help is greatly appreciated!
Hey everyone. I'm in the RC section of the CC currently and was wondering if anyone has access to the "template" that @"Accounts Playable" references in his webinar? I can't seem to locate where it is. Thanks a lot!
Hey everyone. Does anyone know if the Webinars are still available on the 7Sage website? Please inform. Thanks everyone!
Hey Guys! I just watched "David's Six Tips to Doing it Right" webinar and took a note of the "template" he references in it regarding Reading Comp. Does anyone have a link to this template or know where I can find it? Thanks a lot.
@ @ @ I'm interested as well! Please send me the info for the discord groups if you don't mind!
Some of my LOR assignment terms have since expired. Does anyone know how to add a school/term for a new term? Whenever I look up a school I am unable to add it to my school list. I don't know what to do at this point. Any help would be awesome. Thanks everyone.
Does anyone know if @"nicole.hopkins" ever made a RC Webinar talking about inferences in RC and the importance of it?
Hey guys I was just going over some notes from the RC webinar that fellow 7sager @"nicole.hopkins" did. In the notes was reference to a webinar that @DumbHollywoodActor and @"Quick Silver" did for RC and I was told it is very helpful. I wasn't able to locate it "if it still is around" but if anyone could guide me in the direction of it that would be awesome! Please let me know if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Thanks guys!
Hey guys I was just going over some notes from the RC Question type webinar and mentioned in it was a "RC Annotations" webinar that fellow 7sager @"nicole.hopkins" did. I wasn't able to locate it "if it still is around" but if anyone could guide me in the direction of it that would be awesome! Please let me know if anyone knows what I'm talking about. Thanks guys!
Hey everyone, so recently I was given testing accommodations for the LSAT. I was wondering if anyone knows how to simulate the real time I would get via the prep-tests. Meaning, can I make the prep-test sections reflective of my extra time so 50 minutes per section and not 35? Or do I just have to use my own timer and do it that way? Thanks everyone
oh awesome! Thank you so much for that information!
Hey everyone, quick question for those who have taken the LSAT-Flex. Do they provide you with scrap paper and obviously it has to be utilized on screen. You can't have scrap paper physically next to you during the exam, correct? Thanks everyone
Hey everyone, I'm starting to Fool Proof games to really get a better feel for these. Do you suggest I start at 1 and go to 35 that way or should I go by easiest Sequencing, In/Out, Grouping etc. and fool proof by those groups and then work my way up from easiest to hard? I feel like the first way is better but any feedback would be great. Thanks everyone!
I'll be there!
Could you actually give me an example of the logical indicators connecting "Law and Yoda?" I have an idea but am having a brain fart and just want to make sure I definitely know what you mean.
Thank you Yoda! I see you on here a lot so I thought I'd reach out regarding another topics. This may be a dumb question but I'm really trying to lock down these valid/invalid forms so I can continue on. So in one of the comments at the end of the "valid" section I saw this, "In order to deduce a valid inference, the existential quantifiers need to precede the universal one." I know I'm missing something pretty important here but to me for instance form #6 is A → B, B → C, therefore, B some C. But it's valid. Also form #7, A →B, A some C, therefore, B some C. AND, form #8, A →B, A most C, therefore B some C. All of these have the universal quantifier first but are nonetheless valid. I know I'm missing something here that's throwing me off and I feel like it would be so helpful if I could pinpoint it. Probably a dumb question, but if you could help me out that would be great. Thanks Yoda.
A little while ago I was on here and people were talking about "nicole.hopkins" webinar on her reading comprehension strategy. Does anybody have the link to that or know where I can find it? Thanks everyone!
So I'm working through the CC right now and I'm currently in the Intro to Grouping Games: In/Out Games section. So as I've been going through these games I have been fool proofing ones that give me difficulty, which is most of them actually. So what I was really wondering is if I should not move onto to another set, game etc. until I fool proof the prior games. It seems that sometimes i'll be fool proofing and do about 7 copies of a game and master it then I move onto another game in the section and I get stuck again. I'm just wondering if moving on further down in games without fully mastering games is actually hurting me. But I do have to keep moving forward is basically what I'm getting at. I can clarify what I mean as well. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated.
@ @ any chance I could get included in this as well! Need all the LG help I can get!
Hey everyone, just have a general quesiton regarding the fool proof method of logic games. Should I be also answering the quesitons when i fool proof games or just stick with set-up, inferences etc? I seem to find that by repeated game 5 or above the answers just seem to be too easy because i have basically memorized them at that point. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
Hey guys. I recently was going through some comments in RC and came across a chat referencing the LOCI method that fellow 7Sager @Alex? Would anyone be able to point me toward more information on this or be able to describe to me what that method entails? Thanks a lot guys!
Hey Nessa! This post was awesome! Would you suggest drilling these in order by question type or out of order, not knowing the type of question it is you're dealing with? Thanks!!
Hey guys, I was just wondering if I am signed up for January 2020 and will maybe take future LSAT's after that date, should I only be doing time practice tests under "Digital" conditions? No more paper and pencil practice exams? Just wanted to get some ideas from everyone out there? Thanks
Hey @ I know this is a year later but I'm actually in the same boat as you and was wondering how this eventually worked out for you? I would love to know how you applied this and the results? Thanks a lot! Take care.
Thanks for so much for the responses both of you! I love the schedule you provided so I will implement that for sure! Yeah I plan on fool proofing the game immediately. I know I will find unintuitive games so I'm going to need those other days to review them etc. And @ I really appreciate the kind words! I think that's such a good approach to take with the test. I am aiming for middle of the road but I think it's a good idea to strive for a little more to prepare for later in life as well. Those three possibilities during my studies are such a good perspective to look out for! I never thought of it that way! Really appreciate that man. Having those extra success rates with applications and aid can be so beneficial. Take care man and hopefully we can keep in touch. Thanks guys.
Hello all. I'm trying to add a school to my list on the LSAC website for next fall and the school I want to add is greyd out and not able to add. Can anyone help me out with this? Thank you
I won't be able to join tonight, but I will be able to join tomorrow but not at 1 pm.
Hey I'm interested!
Thank you so much for the response Castillo! I started really studying in November as well and am planning for an April take. Can you give me an idea of your study schedule? I ask because sometimes I get stuck on a section and focus on that only for too long and then feel like I get behind on another. Thanks again for the awesome response!
Hey guys so I have a question regarding logic games and conditional rules. Specifically it is from PT #27, Sec 2, Game #4. For question #22 in the game it asks, " If car 4 is purple, which of the following must be true? Now, one of the rules of the game was.....Either car 5 or car 6 must be purple. So regarding that question, just that rule is diminished from the game correct? The other rules which were.....1. No car can be the same color as any car next to it in line. 2. Car 1 cannot be orange. and 3. Car 4 cannot be green., These are all still in effect right? or does 1 rule being wiped out totally wipe out all the rules? I really need clarification on this because this question tripped me up big time and it's been bothering me. Thanks again.
I am interested!
