Let me know! Doesn't matter which LSAT you plan to take. I am already reasonably well versed in everything LSAT, but I'm out to vary my approach by studying with a partner/group. PM me if you're interested.

I can totally see how method of reasoning questions are so foundational to the LR section as a whole. This question tests our understanding of the difference between undermining support (answer choice C) and straight up attacking a conclusion (answer choice E, which Tiya never does), the former of which is what weakening questions are all about. Cool.
I don't know if the trickiness in this question is the same for others, but for me it's a misread of "these three power sources". I registered "these three" as referential phrasing for "nuclear or coal-fired power plants", excluding the part about dams. That tripped me up quite a bit, 'cause I anticipated there being some important not both relationship between damming more rivers vs. the power plants. That made me misunderstand the conclusion. Meh.
Does LSAC give some kind of formal explanation for why some of their tests are non-disclosed? What you're saying conjecturally was my biggest fear going into today's test.
mmiglio, hang in there. i'm in the same boat as you, currently trudging along through the PTs before test day amid some personal issues. something that has helped me an incredible amount is doing a handful of LR questions and one logic game before I take a PT. It helps me squeeze out the fogginess from daily life. anyhow, you're not alone.
But isn't D's referential phrasing vague enough to be referring to some other crop that Kalotopia grew, one that was similarly a large production crop?
