Does anyone know if you send in a signature of intent to registrar, but sign up for the June test to help with waitlists and scholarship negotiation, would that be a problem? I know schools have different policies, but I am imagining that signing up for the June test wouldn't be some violation or get an admittance retracted.

Yale. If you plan to go to a big firm for a bit and want to clerk, you will make that back pretty fast. Law is very prestige oriented and Yale is tops. I would worry and debate on a different set of schools, but it’s Yale. Enjoy!
3 times is not a problem. I probably would take sign up for June anyways since the test is going digital and that would be an extra adjustment. Have fun tomorrow and take June anyways! 3 is really not a problem
I’m in a similar position. So much of it depends on your financial abilities, debt comfort, where you want to practice afterwards, need for prestige, etc. The advice to you may be be very different to another person with the same exact choices. That being said, I would vote for Pepperdine. You got big ties to sports and entertainment law, the beach, and almost free tuition. Sounds like a tough pass up.
Not sure when sales will return, but sales of this will close midnight tonight (eastern standard time). I signed up, and like it so far. Pretty cheap, so if I can get anything out of this it will be a positive. Good luck future 1L's!
Obviously it will help. But if you can get to their medians that would be big.
It's pretty far off to decide on the difference of a month's studying. If this is your first attempt, I would actually plan on taking it Sept with Nov as a back up. Many people get shell shocked their first attempt. Additionally getting your score back and having a couple week turn around time is rough. I'd take it Sept if it your first time. Have Nov as a back up. And even have Jan as a back up for that. When it dawns upon you how each extra point changes the money you get and where you get in, you will be tempted to retake (unless you get maybe a 172+)?
@leahbeuk911 Leah, how would taking a June test help with scholarship negotiation? One wouldn’t get the score back until June 27. I believe many second seat deposit deadlines are July 1. It seems like by the time you get your score back it could be too late to negotiate. I’d love to know your thoughts. It seems more helpful for waitlists.
Yes, I think they are more receptive to late applications. I think it still hurts to apply late, but the "penalty" is not as great as before.
This has been painfully slow. They are definitely going slower this year and because of this, it makes the Jan test more in play vs the Feb test of last year, which probably adds to it going slower.
Frankly schools that have a median of a 160 are ok to apply later (meaning a little less competitive). I would retake
For some reason I didn’t take that part in. You are totally correct
Why wouldn’t you take January? You have a good chance of being shut out of all those schools. I know it sucks, but if you can take January, take it
@mahdirasouli9688 I’m asking because people are writing that the removal of the question makes it like a -11 curve
@mahdirasouli9688 why are questions removed? Is it because too many people got them wrong?
Congrats! You've added a whole lot to this site and I wish you the best!
