How are you doing on time with the RC section? A -8 to me means you're probably spending too little time on the passage and too much time answering the questions, and usually that means you don't have much time left at the end to review. The questions should go quite fast if you really understand the passage. If you have to spend more time on a question or you're really undecided between a couple answers, reread the passage. It is far more time effective to carefully read the passage than to constantly have to go back to it because the question confuses you. Most RC answers are obviously wrong at the barest glance so long as you understand what the passage is saying.
I personally wouldn't cancel if you believe you can do better this time around. UNC's median score is 163 so I'm not sure how it's getting 80% likelihood.
C would weaken the researchers' conclusion if it were true, but it is contradicted by the stimulus. We know that the researchers found no differences between sea-bottom near rigs and sea-bottom several miles from any rig, so how could the rigs be reducing species diversity or animal life density and still be identical to the sites far away from any rig?
That's not how the argument proceeds, that's just one component of the argument. The whole passage is repeatedly saying "this aspect of dinosaurs is like warm-blooded creatures/birds and not like cold-blooded creatures like reptiles". B is a thing that the passage does, but it is not how the argument in the passage proceeds.
C doesn't undermine T's conclusion because the lack of a cross stepping pattern is already something we know to be consistent with human prints. T's conclusion is predicated on the idea that these could be human prints despite the cross stepping, so what does a lack of cross stepping at another unrelated site have to do with it?
D says that there is a lack of detail in the prints but the stimulus indicates that the details that T is basing their conclusion on are clearly visible and gives no indication that there is an issue with the details of the prints, but rather the cross step pattern, which a lack of detail neither promotes nor undermines.
I really wanted to pick A for all the right reasons but I ended up selecting E because of the use of the word "over". I felt that implied the family member and other employee were on equal footing and the family member was promoted "over" the other because of favoritism. I feel that's needlessly misleading.
