Hey, just got my score preview which was pretty depressing (141) but not that surprising seeing as my highest practice test had been 148. I work full time and am aiming for the 150s. Would love to have a motivational partner /study buddy to talk things through with and keep each other going. May take the January or may wait longer and apply for next application cycle. Let me know if you’re interested!

Congrats :D
I scored 141...it sucks...I work full time and it’s so hard to motivate to keep studying. I don’t know if I should even bother trying to resit in jan or if I should give myself longer and apply next cycle. I just don’t know if I can improve enough for jan. I just want to get in the 150s. I want to get into Georgia state.

Hey there @ sure thing! This is not to say this is the only way to properly BR RC, just one of the many ways that i've found effective.
So I actually got this strategy from @. And pretty much what you do is, after each RC section you take, pick the two passages that you found the most difficult/struggled with the most. Then you write out a low and high res summary as well as other things such as main point, authors tone/attitude, structure of the passage etc. Then when you're doing doing the questions be sure to write out an explanation for each answer choice and also try to have a prediction in mind after reading the stem. All of this is done untimed of course, during blind review. If you want more details here's the link to the original post, as well as the meaning behind low and high res summaries.

As mentioned above, you’re quickest route to the 160’s would be by picking up points in LG. I'd keep foolproofing but make sure you're not just memorizing the games, instead focus on the inferences- seeing as those are what recur over and over again. When you're BR'ing practice drawing out every possible inference you can. Also for RC be sure to BR properly- take the two passages that you struggled with the most and write up low res/high res, MP, tone, attitude, structure. Once you start answering questions be sure to write an explanation for any answer choice you can’t easily eliminate with solid reason.
Hello - can you elaborate a bit more on how to BR properly for RC? Or what video(s) I should reference to learn more? I don't know what you mean by low res/high res, MP for main point right? And I'm not exactly sure what you mean by finding tone, attitude and structure. Definitely struggling with pulling all those things out as I'm reading the RC passages...
Hello! Just dropping a short message to say that what you described is me exactly :( I have been studying about 2 months now. my first test I got 140, got up to 148 on my 3rd test (last week) and now back down to 142. While I was reading the test it felt like I didn’t understand anything that I was reading. Maybe I was having an off day.
I work full time and still am studying about 15-20 hours a week too. I haven’t taken a study break/day off in a while so I’m going to try that and then come back. I am doing my best to not give up hope. I am aiming for 155 in the November test. Hit me up if you want to connect online and maybe we can help each other out or at least provide moral support! This is really tough and discouraging
I can make it and I’m interested! Thanks

Hi Dasiy, same boat here! Scoring through the ranges of 145-150, trying to get to 154 at the lowest to apply this cycle. Signed up for January, forcing myself to take it no matter what. I'd love to join a study group as well!

Hi Daisy-
I am in the same boat. Working full time, scored a 149 on the August test and aiming for at least a 155 on the January test. Studying for the LSAT has kind of felt like being in limbo for me because sometimes I think I'm just not good enough and I'll never be able to get a good score, but talking about my goals and seeing what other people aspire to do with their lives somehow helps everything feel more "real" and gives me the motivation to keep pushing forward. Hoping to hear back from you but if not, good luck in your endeavors!
Would love to study together! Please see my most recent post in this thread with Zoom info for Saturday 12/5 at 11am-12pm PT. I hope you can make it, otherwise let me know and we can try to loop you back into the group.

Finally, some affirmation that I am not alone! Working full-time and studying at late nights-- scoring the same.
You're not alone! This really sucks but hopefully we can all help each other out! I hope you can make it on Saturday (see my newest post to this thread) but if not and you want to be involved, let me know and we can try to find times in the future that work for you.
Hey everyone! Sorry that it has taken me a while to reach back out. I've been trying to get back into studying after the disappointment of receiving my Nov score. But, I'm excited that there has been so many responses to my post and I'm hopeful that we can improve together. I would love to connect with as many of you as possible. However, I really don't want to go through the struggle of scheduling a group (I do enough scheduling/doodle polls at work and I don't wanna do anymore in my spare time). I am proposing this:
I'll be on Zoom this Saturday 12/5 from 11am-12pm PT for our first intro meeting. Below is the zoom info. During the meeting we can figure out a time that works for most folks. Hope to see you there! I hope we can meet weekly, maybe even twice weekly once we get our rhythm going.
