Within the last week, I've taken ten practice tests. Three of them were in the high 150s, two in the low 160s, three in the high 160s, and two in the 170s. I do not understand why my test scores are varying so wildly; maybe it is a time of day or confidence thing? My average across all the tests on each of the three sections is around -5 for LG/RC and -4 for LG, so it's not that one of my sections is particularly weaker than the others.
I'm taking the test on Tuesday and it's really psyching me out that I could end up scoring 157 or I could end up scoring 173. Did anyone else experience something similar? What do you think could be the biggest reasons for it?
I felt as though this one was mean. The conclusion is that the Chairperson should not have released the report; the premise is that this is simply because they did not consult any other members of the commission before doing so.
If I take it as true that I shouldn't book my family vacation because I failed to consult at least one other person first, I'm going to be looking for a principle that lays out how it is wrong to book a vacation without consulting anyone - not a principle that says, "all vacations must be voted on and consented to by a majority of the members of a family".
I get that the contrapositive enables the conclusion, but this was NOT the premise of the prompt. It's a completely different premise that so happens to lead to the same conclusion. That's why this question is mean.
