Lol, I had my score down to a conditional, If finished LGs, then 172+ for almost every PT. But i failed the sufficient, so ,as you guys know, the necessary could or could not follow. Anyway i feel better now than i did the day of the test. The RC and LR didnt really stand out to me and that kind of worries me, i still remember a few questions that tripped me up, but Im not sure how i'll score for any of them. i could really see myself falling anywhere below or above the curve. I dont, however, want to cancel because there have been many PTs that i didnt feel too hot about that I ended doing perfectly fine or even above my average on. these 3 weeks will, however, kill me.

The biggest thing that helped me with LR was really understanding how arguments work on the LSAT and understanding what the question is asking. It's not enough to know that premises support the conclusion and you have to address that support. You have to truly understand how that works. Most LR questions revolve around this understanding.

What are they trying to convince me of? what are they using as support for this position? how is this supporting the conclusion? What would weaken/strengthen how this premise supports this conclusion? without attacking either the premise/conclusion.

Also logic. For those questions that hinge on logic, they seem really tough before you know logic, and basically gimmes afterwards.

TBH, i've read and experienced it LGs TEND to be get harder. LR 1-12 are easier than the next 13-22ish(especially around 17-21 are difficult), and the last 3 usually arent that difficult, but generally they include some questions that are time sinks, parallel reasoning, parallel flaw, really wrong must be true or something to that degree.

The RC is kind of like the LGs where the last two tend to be more difficult than the first two.

Also the ones at the end may just seem more difficult due to fatigue, time, and pressure.

Last Second Tweaks ?

Hi everyone. As i got closer to test day my scores kind of dipped for various reasons. Also i had struggled with timing for most of my process especially in RC and LG(for some reason). Timing was the biggest deterrent to my score, and so i attempted some tweaks that seem to have helped me out (along with a lot of repetition in LG types and RC sections). For the Logic games i started doing the 3rd game first, then the fourth, then the second, the thirst. This is risky for multiple reasons, but I havent struggled to finish a section since i picked it up, and my accuracy is usually -0. The RC solution is really a suggestion predicated on my experience and that is trying to answer most questions without referring back to the passage. I realize this may seem obvious and a lot of you probably do this already, but i realized that i spent way too much time trying to verify answers that i suspected to be right, in most cases, if im not sure, i eliminate wrong answers and go with my hunch and comeback to it later if time allows. All in all im sure this isnt too enlightening. Anybody else have any last second tweaks? and Good luck to Sept LSAT takers and future LSAT takers in general.

If you have to choose one go with LGs with 7sage's method almost everyone is able to improve. Even though LG is the smallest section of the test going 0 to -1 will give you a tremendous boost and LGs seems to be the area that most people see the most improvement. I know you're probably short on time, but because the LR is more of the test than any of the others. I would advise trying to improve as much as possible with it by doing BR and a lot of sections. It takes longer to improve, but seeing as to you see almost 2xs as many LR questions as LG questions it might be worth it. Hope this helped good luck.

Retakers, how do you feel?

Hi to all my fellow retakers and forgive my grammar; Been grindin my whole life.

I was retaking because in sept i scored 7 points below my PT average, and yes i did strictly time my pts. I choked the games pretty hard though. I retook feel like i did better on the games, on the rest of the test? meh. I did take a couple cold(i wasnt studying nearly as much as i did the first time) PTs in the meantime and scored my average or a little above. i may not have scored higher on the retake, but i can live with it. Life's hard.

Howd you guys' retaking process go and how do you feel you did?
