This gives me hope. I started with 133 in February 2023 and scoring around 146-149 on my PT scores right now. Aiming for 160, but I would be happy with a 155 at least. Thank you for posting this!
How is everyone doing?
I'm interested.
Me! I score 12/25 on LR untimed :( and score 18/25 on RC.
I don't have an answer, but just know you are not alone. I have the same UGPA and have 3 years of legal experience. I am taking the April LSAT and I am scoring 144-150s on my PTs at the moment. We can do this!
I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like you have test anxiety? I have that too so I applied for accommodations for 70 minutes each section and got approved.
Hi there! We are on the same boat. I started studying since last year February but very inconsistent because I had a few travel plans! Now that I hired a tutor recently, I have been taking my studies more seriously. I was aiming for April LSAT but with the rate I am going right now, I don't think getting a high score will be possible for April  I have been skipping the PTs and only been doing untimed drills so I can really understand each question before incorporating timed drills.
So my plan is to take a PT this week and if I don't like my score, I will push it to June. The deadline to register for April is on the 29th of February so we have time to decide.
Good luck, and you're not alone!
Hi, we are on the same boat here. I initially planned to take the April LSAT, but with the rate I am going right now with my PT scores, I decided to push it to June and probably will take it again in August. What I am doing differently right now is that I watch the intro video on the CC and then do untimed drills on that specific question type. I review the explanation videos on the questions I got wrong and do wrong answer journals. If I still don't understand the CC, I refer to my book called LSAT Trainer by Mike Kim. I basically study about 2-3 hours a day since I have a full time job and I meet with my tutor once a week and go over the lessons I still don't understand. .... Basically my suggestion is maybe hire a tutor? and continue to do more drills (untimed) before you incorporate timed drills. Good luck! Like I said, we are on the same boat. You are not alone!
I would love to join!
Also, ask yourself why you chose the wrong answer and why you eliminated the right answer.
I'm struggling with RC too. I find that reading slowly and understanding every sentence and how every paragraph relates to each other helps. As you read, keep in mind the author's opinion.
If it makes you feel better, I have been studying for a year and not reaching my goal score as well. I am also taking the June lsat. For the past two weeks, I was on vacation and did 0 studying. What is even worst is that I got sick coming back home, so I am not motivated to get back into studying. Yet, I am still taking the June LSAT. I just have the mindset that I can always take it again. I don't want to withdraw because I have already signed leave from work to take it and everyone I know knows I am taking it. Shouldn't stop me from withdrawing, but oh well.
I scored a 152 and also have a legal background, but I am planning to retake in October. I just don't want to spend money on law school.
