I wasn't mentally prepared yet, I was looking forward to just keeping busy with the holidays and not freaking out until the 2nd at least.

Same because I probably didn't get the score I want.
There isn't a particular question type that I consistently struggle with, but I tend to miss 3ish in the last 10 on LR and I'm wondering what people's strategies are. I went -4/-3 in September and I'm realistically aiming for -2/-2 in December. Should I just focus on slowing down? Double check the answer against the prompt? I'm usually at question 15 by 15 minutes in, and question 20 by 25 minutes in.
I have three LORs (all from professors) and I'm confident in two of them. The third I'm sure is good but I imagine it's not as good as the other two. Should I still assign all three, or just the two?
I thought I understood these but recently I've been confusing myself.
Does the correct answer ever reinforce a premise? Like if we negated it, it would ruin the premise (and thus, the argument), but we have to treat the premises as gospel so that doesn't matter, right?
Also, does it typically break down as sufficient assumptions bridge the gap and necessary assumptions shield the argument? I think I remember NAs that bridge the gap, but never SAs that shield it.
I'm going to ask her if she could mail it, but do they accept fax as well?

@deansr542 Dang, that would be really upsetting.
My GPA is a 3.90; UChicago's median. I'm unsure if I should wait for December to hopefully get a better LSAT score. I just don't know what to think of these fee waivers - I just got one from Berkeley and Emory as well.
You could apply now and still take in December. That's what I'm doing. Chicago is definitely interested in you with a 3.90
How's your GPA? Chicago likes high GPAs more than the LSAT. I've also seen some people say schools want to keep their acceptance rate low so the waivers are to get you to apply, then they reject you. I don't think they're that nefarious but who knows.
Basically, it means you should apply there.
I've been trying for a month to get an LOR submitted. The professor is saying that they keep following the link and submitting it but it doesn't even show that it's acknowledged on LSAC. Has anyone had this problem before?

Would you mind elaborating on this a bit?
So I went to an early-college HS where you graduate with both your HS diploma and an Associate's degree... wasn't the best student in HS and received mediocre grades for my Associates. (Talking like 2.0 GPA's). Graduated college last year with a transcript full of 3.7's and up (save for a bad first semester). Will my Ass. transcript bring down overall GPA?
Probably. My high school dual enrollment classes brought my GPA down so I would imagine yours will factor in.

Whoa! that's crazy they made an error like that. Any error is serious and I'm extremely happy you did something about it and were vindicated. Good for you @deansr542
Thanks! I have the emails and old Summary Report screenshot too because I figured this doesn't happen often.

what do you mean by high school test credit?
I took a test through a community college in high school. They said if we took a test we could earn college credit. It wasn't a dual enrollment class or anything but more like AP credit I guess.
I thought I needed to have a transcript from that college sent to LSAC since it showed as transfer credit. Evidently the transcript only said WC which stood for "WEBCAPE" meaning that I didn't get a grade. LSAC processed the WC as C grades.
I know a few joint degree programs accept the LSAT instead of making you take the GRE. The only one that I'm really interested in is Virginia's JD/MA in history. It's a three year program, costs nothing extra, and accepts the LSAT.
My September score wasn't what I wanted but it's good enough for most of the schools I'm looking at. I'm retaking in December but should I go ahead and apply now? If I apply now, should I write an addendum about another score coming or will they see that I'm registered?
So I posted a couple days ago about LSAC miscalculating my GPA on the Academic Summary Report; they treated eight hours of high school test credit as a C. They fixed it today, but I'm posting this to remind people to verify their grades. I know LSAC has their own way of calculating GPA, but this was pretty blatant and took my overall GPA down by 0.10
Good luck all!

Isn't that a really good score though? I mean I had a mentor who got into YLS from Tufts with a 165 and magna cum laude
Apparently Chicago likes higher GPAs more than other schools. Their median is 3.90 so that's why I need/want a higher LSAT
My September score is leaving me in purgatory.
I got a 170 and I have a 3.57 GPA. I want to apply ED to UChicago (I know, it's a reach) while applying to Michigan, Duke, Virginia, Penn, Northwestern, and Cornell.
Looking on Law School Numbers, even a 175 (my PT average) in December wouldn't do much for my application chances anywhere, and would marginally help with scholarship money. My thoughts are if Chicago were going to reject me, seeing that I'm taking in December would at least get me waitlisted.
I'm in the middle of a gap year and I burnt myself out going into the September test, and I don't want to go through it again.
What should I do?

Update: I'm on hold with the school, but they said their copy of my transcript shows a 4.0
Does this have something to do with how LSAC handles dual-enrollment classes?
did you submit the transcript from that community college you're on hold with to LSAC? if not, that may be the issue and you needed to submit transcripts for all institutions where you have taken classes up until the point of your first bachelors
Yeah I did. The lady I spoke with talked to someone in the registrar's office and they're saying I tested out of the classes and have no GPA on the transcript. So the school has no idea where LSAC got a 2.0 from.
If there's no GPA, shouldn't it just count like AP credit?

In high school, a community college came to my German class and said if we take a free test in the computer lab after school we could earn college credit. There was no grade on the test, but it would eventually cut you off depending on how you performed. I took it and got credit for eight hours of German. It transferred to my undergraduate university so I never saw a grade, but I just had the transcript processed by LSAC and it's showing that I got eight credit hours of a 2.0 GPA. That tanked my GPA and I'm wondering if there is any way to fix this or if anyone has had a similar problem.
Should I just keep calling the school? Is there anything they can do?
PT68 game 4. Also, PT65 game 4 has an odd/rare style.
Yeah I felt the same way but I'm mostly just kicking myself over how the LSAT / all of undergrad went lol
