I was just speaking with my therapist to whom I complained that I wanted to take the LSAT in January 2020 but was upset that I might not get into the schools I wanted to by September 2020. I am going through a divorce, having to repair my house to sell, dealing with health issues and just needing time to center, exhale and focus, but I have been battling this LSAT for quite some time now and wanted to finally tackle it "full force" since I have gotten rid of the physical obstacle that was standing in my way. My therapist told me to wait a while, instead of focusing on 2020, focus on 2021 to get everything situated regarding my mental, emotional and living arrangements, etc. "But, I will be 54 next year" I told him, totally frustrated that I will be almost 60 by the time I do get in and finish. I am reading some of these posts and they are "right on time" because someone said he will be 63, another will be 57 and here I am 53 years old worrying about taking even more time to study. I am so glad I found 7Sage and the 7Sage community. You guys are helping me tremendously.

FYI, I currently work in a law firm in DC and I wish I could post the picture of the former Senator who has been a lawyer (graduated college in 1954) here for 59 years as he moves down the long hallways ever so slowly, independent of any aid, but his mind is sharp as a whip and conversation is long if you ask him a question. He too is my motivation.

Thanks so much!

How did you deal with test anxiety? Sometimes I just go blank if I get stuck on a question and this is a major issue for me.

This is such great information. I was doing ALL of the wrong things before taking the test and the anxiety would kill me from there. Part of the anxiety came from not being really confident. 7 sage has helped me tremendously, so much more than Kaplan or Testmasters ever did. I am someone who needs things explained a second time and I could not keep asking the instructor and feeling like I was holding up the class. With this format, I can go back as much as I want and repeat the lessons until I "get it". It is great being able to get feedback from other students and knowing that others struggle with the same things as I do. Thank you guys so much!

Study 6 more months and take more PT tests. I have been at it for 1 year and, if I am still not ready by March, I will not take until I feel that I am. You sound like you might be a whole lot younger than me so, do not allow self pity to rule. Trust me, 3 months is absolutely not enough time. This is no ordinary test. The general consensus is that practice, practice and more practice makes a better score.

Am I to assume that the grouse would not display its air sacs to the female unless it were healthy. How am I to know that an unhealthy grouse would still not display its air sacs out of excitement at the presence of a female. The argument does not say anything about this and whether he inflates as a sign of health. D suggest that symptoms are visible on inflated air sacs which would be a sign of unhealthy sacs. I am confused. Please help.

I was always instructed not to put anything under 6 months on a resume and that it should not be more than 2 pages long if you can help it. Termination from a 2 month job time period I would never list. Easy to explain away if they ask. You can always state that you were looking for work during this time, taking courses, helping with family issues, or working temporary assignments. At least sign up with a temp agency, take jobs where you can or if unemployed and list them as an employer during these tween times.
