to simply put it, for weaken questions i went hunting for the answer choice that gives another hypothesis/explanation based on the premises and for strengthen questions i look for an ac that helps the conclusion make more sense e.g if the conclusion is 'the apple jack ate today was red' I am going to look for an ac that says something like 'every apple picked at smiths was checked and they were all red.' that would strengthen my conclusion. Idk if i explained that correctly but that's how i think about it and it hasn't failed me so far.

the way i understood it is there is no need for the assumption because the stim states its harmful when consumed in amounts that are more than per capita consumption i.e maybe if its 1 and u consume more than 1 than its more likely to be harmful because you're ingesting more peaches, since 20 percent of the ppl are ingesting more than 1 its not an acceptable practice. so what c says is it'll be acceptable if people can consume more than 1 and for it to have no more harm than if you had one. idk if i explained it correctly but thats how i got to C
