CAS service questions

Greetings 7sagers!

I am trying to figure out how LSAC's Credential Assembly Service (CAS) works. I know the gist of it is to make creating your law school admissions packages smoother, but I have questions about the logistics if I am applying to multiple schools.

For example, if I want a letter of recommendation from someone, what is that process. Does the recommender have to create an LSAC account? Does that letter go to all the schools that I am applying to?

I looking for some #help !!!

Thanks in advance for your responses!

Conclusion: There is a reason to believe that most of those who filed for compensation after the factory closed were just out to gain benefits they did not deserve and filed only to help them weather their job loss.

Premise: After the factory closed, there was a sharp increase in the number of claims filed for job-related injury compensation by the factory’s former employees.

Weaken EXCEPT.

A.) The increase in claims happened after the factory closed and jobs were lost, so A seems like it would weaken the argument.

B.) Well now they don’t work for these managers anymore and want their compensation for injuries that they actually incurred. Weakens the argument.

C.) This seems fishy. If most works file the same day they suffer the injury, why didn’t these people do this? This seems like it doesn’t weaken the argument, if anything it strengthens it slightly.

D.) If these people didn’t file because they needed to make the money on the job which is better than workers comp, they still deserved the benefits. They just didn’t file because they couldn’t afford to, literally. Now, they aren’t making the good factory wage, so they need some type of income, so they’re filing now. Weakens the argument that there’s some fraud going on.

E.) Maybe these people were told about the factory closing a little before it happened, and they got depressed and were more injury prone. This definitely might cause an increase in claims in this case. Weakens the argument.

#feedback Remember way back in the Main Point/ Main Conclusion lessons JY said that in these question types the conclusion is rarely at the end? Maybe this is one of those cases because I didn't even think to consider the last part as the end because of that advice.

#help Did anyone else make the assumption that answer choice C was saying that it wasn't the THC that caused cancer, but it was actually the weakened immune system that gave way to cancer? I took this as a correlation type question and tried to weaken it through seeking a Third Common Cause. I erroneously thought the alternative cause to THC causing cancer is actually a weakened immune system giving way to cancer. #help
