Is anyone else balancing applying for law school during this cycle, with studying for the December LSAT? I'm pretty lucky that I got my personal statement and resume done in the weeks after the September LSAT, but now I have to do all the "Why X Law School Essays" and actually submit the damn things. Is anyone applying now and telling the admissions officers to hold off until the December score comes in? Or are you just planning on submitting everything after December 6?

The Blind Review method blows my mind. I'm actually really excited to try it tonight.
So, I scored a 159 on the September LSAT, after 2 months of study in which I was consistently scoring 168-172. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the LSAT Ultimate package, which I hope will help me get through the nerves of taking the exam. I'm hoping to do well enough to be competitive with a 170+ score. Here we go! Any other retakers in the house?
Please add me; I'm re-taking in December!
I scored 10 points below what I was PTing at; I chalk it up to nerves and freezing in the RC and being super anxious during the LG. I signed up to retake in December. I plan to focus on the most recent PTs (#60-73) and drill on LGs. Also, I have to work on getting into the right mental state. Argh.
I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of NYC-based LSAT prep services (i.e., Blueprint, Powerscore, etc) offering to let you pay to participate in just the proctored LSAT exams? I think my biggest problem is test anxiety and I would love to sit for a few proctored exams before my retake in October. But I don't want to pay $1,300 for the privilege...
Need some advice here. I took the LSAT in October 2013 (canceled score), September 2014 (159), and December 2014 (159). Very disappointed, especially since I seem to be making the same stupid mistakes. I only signed up for 7sage between the September-December administration, so I really only had 6 weeks to prepare. I think that bit me in the ass when it came down to internalizing JY's method and the way that you need to think on the LSAT. I have a 3.7 GPA from an Ivy, some great softs, and am an old, non-traditional student, so I have a pretty good application other than the LSAT and I KNOW I can do better because I was PTing in the high 160s/low 170s. ARGHHHH.
So, my question. Does LSAC's 3 exams in 2 years limitiation mean that I can't take the lsat again in June 2014? Or do I have to wait until October 2014? Would love to know if anyone else knows...
I was choosing between A and C, and I ended up choosing A in the problem set. I eventually decided on A because I was thinking , "well, there are plenty of reasons to believe in extraterrestrial life, such as religious convictions like Scientology. Reasons don't have to be SOUND." I picked C because the author is saying, "These scientists can believe what they want, but they will never find ET because he does not exist. Period."
