If you're willing to wait until next admission cycle to apply, I'd personally cancel. If you're going to be applying this cycle regardless of how January goes, probably best to keep it.

Yeah I am not planning to apply this cycle anyway. Thanks for your input!

I got a 164 on the November LSAT Flex and I am debating whether or not to cancel my score. I purchased the Score Preview option and have until tonight to decide. I was aiming for mid 170s but panicked on test day and did not perform as well as I could have based on PTs. I know a 164 is considered a great score for a lot of people, which makes me hesitate to cancel it (also I am really sorry if this is a super annoying post), but it is much lower than what I was aiming for and I will definitely take it again sometime next year. I am almost positive I can do better, especially if I continue studying. What do you guys think I should do?

LSAT writing

How long does it take for LSAC to process the writing samples? I took the November exam and the earliest I can take it is Friday and I am worried I wont get my score back on time. Not the end of the world I guess, just curious if others have had a quick turnaround

Yeah usually I can narrow it down to 1 or 2 but I am SO stubborn about moving on without being sure. That makes sense! Thanks!!

Guessing on answers

For those of you who score above 170, how often do you guess on answers? On my last practice test, I got stuck on an LR question and sunk so much time into it that I had to rush through the remaining questions. I am aiming for 170+, so feel a lot of pressure not to miss questions, but sometimes this mindset seems to make it harder. Is the answer just to accept that I will inevitably get stuck sometimes and be ok with guessing, or does this just mean I need to study more to reach my goal? Looking for insight! Thanks!!

LSAC website says that ink pens are allowed on the FLEX, although I have heard stories of proctors flip flopping on this! I was just curious if other people have preferences/similar dilemmas

Pen or pencil for lsat flex??

I have been practicing with a pen, but on my last practice test I accidentally wrote down a rule wrong. I caught my mistake quickly and scratched it out, but then it tripped me up for the rest of the game because of the visual clutter. What are your thoughts? Should I be using a pencil so I can erase when things like that happen? I know erasing large mistakes can waste time, but what about smaller things like copying down the wrong number in a rule?
