Hi! I'm looking for someone to Blind Review Sections/entire exams with. I have found this to be VERY helpful for me in the past and for other people I have worked together with. We would take an LR section/entire exam together, and then each person would go over every other question, articulating why every wrong answer is wrong and why every right one is right. Let me know if you're interested! Send me a message.

is anyone going to the PT 60 session tonight?
anyone else joining this? i'm down!
hi,
for those of you (like me) who might have started in the late 140s and have been stuck in the 50s for a while...
how do you convince yourself that it CAN BE DONE? I had 161 as my best score and 160 and then dropped back down. I can feel that part of me doesn't even believe that it even is possible, to get into the higher 160s much less in the 170s. i know at this point i need to convince myself of the actual possibility of this happening, or my scores won't budge. do you meditate on a specific number? Use a vision board? zone in on where improvement has actually happened? I was just curious if anyone had any advice. I read the "don't give up post" (thanks!) but can still feel this weight...
hi, just a quick question:
it looks like the superprep 2 book contains pt 62 and 63, which i happen to have. the book also has another preptest that isn't numbered? I'm feeling like I'm running out of tests so it'd be great if that was the case. Is it? A little confused by what I'm reading online, and would appreciate some clarification, esp. since BR group is going to be going over "super prep 2" next week and I'm not sure if I need to buy the book. or can just get that other preptest somehow.
happy almost-halloween!
I was just curious to see if anyone had taken 66 today (to be BR'd as a group on Wednesday night). I like to review the LR sections one question at a time before the group session just in case I miss something with the group--I've found it to be very helpful in the past. Message me if interested!
no no not saying it's cancelled i was just wondering if anyone would show (i've been to some sessions where people haven't)
Hi guys,
I've heard around that since it's Halloween people aren't planning to BR this Satruday night. Is anyone planning to attend the BR call on Friday then (for the Dec group, PT 75)? Let me know!
Also down for a morning call any day except Sunday.
chill haha incidentally something came up for me too. talk to you guys sat!
Hi folks, can you post here/message me if you are planning to join Fri and/or Sat? (73 and 63?) Last week I was the only one and I just wanted to make sure that I definitely want to take these PT's this week (e.g. instead of reviewing and taking them later).
Hi there,
Hope you're having a good Saturday. I'm currently studying for the Dec LSAT and thought I'd post because I'm looking for a study buddy/group of people I can meet with online (difficult for me to find people in Minnesota), over skype. I've tried to join in on some BR groups but the Fri/Sat understandably doesn't seem to work for everyone. Also, I'm not sure if I'm looking only for someone to BR an entire exam with, but could do more low-commitment stuff like go over an LR section together for an hour, and maybe we can target weaknesses together. Currently in the mid-upper 150s and would love to get tips and share tips with whoever who's down! I have a very flexible schedule--shoot me a message! I just think verbalizing why answer choices are right or wrong could probably help lot of us out on sections like LR.
Have a good rest of your weekend! :)
anyone else joining in tonight?
is anyone else doing this? I thought it was starting now...
For those of you guys who have the time to BR an entire exam before the BR group, do you find it helpful? or not so much [e.g. better time being spent on practicing games or drills, etc]? I would imagine that if you had the time to BR on a clean copy before, view answers, and BR with a clean copy during the discussion it'd be helpful (but maybe not as much with a scratched up copy) any thoughts?
how long do these usually last? I have a dinner at 7:30 (8:30 pm est) so I'm thinking I might just skip over and take PT 71
Just finished the exam ready to review soon! :)
All of those times sound good to me. Thanks for setting this up! No preference on PT order.
Thanks both of you guys. Started working on the LGs- @974 how many games/game sets were you doing a day? So far I've done 3 4-problem sets a day, timed as if I were taking the first 3 sections of the LSAT. I'm doing this because I think I have more difficulty distributing time efficiently in between games--anyone else do this too?
Hello Everyone,
I wanted to ask advice of any of the 7sagers here--I'd really, really appreciate it. I've been kind of lost amongst the different study methods and feel I need to schedule some pattern before the December. Also, good luck to all of those taking the October!! Sending good vibes to my friends and other members here on the 3rd.
So here's the situation:
Diagnostic was 149. By now after the curriculum I've taken a few PTs, Actual: 155,152,156, 152, respectively. BR: 162, 166, 166, 169, and 164, respectively. LR I avg -9, LG -13, and RC -6. I find timing to be a problem, as many probably do.
Initially I wanted to take 3 tests a week, but I have only been taking 2 since I've felt I needed more time to review--but I also think taking the tests has been helping me in terms of stamina, and the exposure seems good. I know I have a lot lot lot of work to do in LG,...so should I just take a break from the PTs and just do a few sets every day for a week or something before revisiting PTs? And LR I'm also behind--should I spend more time drilling conditionals and revisiting NA in the curriculum, for example, or spend more time reviewing the questions of the PTs I've taken? I've only taken the PTs in the 40s...and I keep freaking out at entire games. I've gone over a few of the LR chapters in the Trainer but for some reason it doesn't seem to be clicking...
Basically I'm not sure where I should be spending more time. If I'm feeling very tired one day, should I put off taking an exam until I'm much more focused and ready to improve my score? My friends have kept telling me "take as many PTs as possible before the exam" and have made it sound as though sheer repetition of PTs will make me better somehow. I want to break into the 60's soon...how many PTs do I expect to take before I get there? My goal was a 170 but I know that's very difficult and at this point I just want to be getting BETTER.
Would really love your help. :)) I wish I could offer more to you guys but I've been mostly learning from the community here. maybe in the future...
hi everyone,
practicing the older games sections now, and i was just wondering if you guys thought it was worth the time to continue practicing and perfecting the games that seem a little strange, like this one: http://classic.7sage.com/lsat_explanations/lsat-11-section-1-game-4/
one person mentioned on that one that's it's good for flexible thinking and I was wondering if you guys agreed. I don't mind giving it a shot and watching the videos for them but not sure if i should repeat, do the next day and the next week, etc..
thanks for all the advice folks! happy studying.
hi everyone,
for those of you using the trainer and 7sage together, i was wondering what you thought of learning/using the "complex or rules drill" (pg 196)? I don't really remember having learned something like this in the 7sage curriculum (correct me if I'm wrong) and I'm kind of feeling that it might just confuse me. Is the alternative making more sub gameboards?
Help would be much appreciated. Thanks! Trying to pick out of this book what works/doesn't work with 7sage, and I've found the LR to be pretty good.
I also took the December, and now I'm planning to take the June. I think I'm going to save mine and do it timed much closer to the time of the June exam, since I've exhausted a lot of PTs; but I'd be interested in what other people are planning to do too if they're retaking.
