There is a lot of good advice on here from everyone! Glad I read it as I am starting to get nervous about the December LSAT and wasn't sure if I should push it back to the February one.

I'm in Redondo Beach and though I know it's not super close to OC, I'd be willing to make some trips down on the weekend to get together for a study group. I'm planning on using the whole month of January as nothing but practice tests. Please let me know if you put something together. Thanks!

Even with Jon's explanation, I really think the answer choice still makes the initial argument stronger. The author is saying, "Hey guys, run on a hard track, it'll make for greater speeds because of blah, blah, blah." Awesome, got it. Then I look at the answer choices and think, okay, time to make the "beam" of the little cartoon guy smaller. Um...yeah, I didn't pick answer choice C. Why, because if the conclusion is "hard track = greater running speed" and we add choice C, we did not weaken the beam. We added to it, making it stronger. Just because the initial argument began weak, doesn't mean the answer choice weaken it anymore, it did just the opposite. I kind of see it like, hey, I have a rum and coke, but it's kind of weak, can you please add some more rum to make it stronger? Sure, the initial drink poured was weak, but once you added more rum (the answer choice), you made the drink stronger. Am I just completely missing this?

Thanks. Does that mean you scored lower on the 2014 Feb test or did you do about the same?

Thoughts on Taking the Exam in Feb

Hi All,

I am registered to take the December exam but really believe in order to do my best, I should move the date to the February exam. My goal is not to attend a top school and the majority of the schools to which I am applying application deadlines for the fall semester well into 2015. One even has a July 1 cutoff, which is amazing to me. Anyway, I was just wonder what people have heard/know about the level of difficulty of the February exam. Is it truly more difficult? Does it really hinder the possibility of getting into school in the fall based on all the fact many law schools have rolling admissions? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

My friend took the Feb LSAT, scored in the 160s and got into every school she applied to. I think you should rest up and take the Feb exam. I don't it will have as negative effect as rumors say it will. Just do well.
