I am applying for the 2016 cycle. Registered for the February, which is my third take. I cancelled my second score due to bubbling error and used my first score to apply, which should get me into some fine law schools. Everyone around me think I should give it a last try. So I prepped for another month and took 77 and ended up with the exact same score which I got for my first take. I would wish anyone to give me some advise on whether to take the test on Saturday! Thanks!

I experienced the same thing. I must admit that at least for me the score doesn't count a lot on the older tests I have taken. If you do have some fresh tests, maybe use those to simulate test situation and use older tests for practice.
Thanks @974. RC is my worst section (-3 to -5) Two LR combined (-4 to -6) LG (-0 to -2)
For BR I will get all games correct. RC almost does not change. (English is not my native English language. I really need to check how other ppl assess the passage to figure out how I understand it wrong.) LR I will improve for one or two points after BR. Any advice?
Hi all! I have exhausted all test materials from 30 -75. I am redoing tests 50+ and plan for the December retake. Although I am doing these tests again, I am plateauing around 170. I wouldn't say that I remembered all the questions and answers but I think with this kind of performance I would not be able to score 170 in the real thing. Any thoughts on how to improve? Thanks!
Focus on the core and reasoning structure might help. But sometimes I got tripped over when I overlooked some detailed information.
I feel you. Also being an international student, I guess you should not rely on solving questions by matching keywords. Try to understand them under time limits. And my feelings about 70s are that they are harder because there are more trap answers, which may make matching keywords affect your accuracy more.
@sarkisp23965 Thanks for being supportive! Good Luck with your test!
@julesters701 I started last September...I studied the Bible and the LSAT trainer. I didn't finish them, though. It was not intense. I may have studied for about 6-8 hours a week. Then I stopped when winter break began and picked up this March. What do you think?
@2543.hopkins Thanks! I may consider postponing if there are no strong improvements in score in the next week or two.
Hi all!
I desperately need your help! I planned for the February test, procrastinated and postponed it to June. After the winter break, I've decided to take LSAT really seriously and finished the core lessons with 7Sage. Now I have been through more than 10 pts but don't see anything above 161, though my highest br score is 174.
My final goal is at least to break 165.
I am not sure if I am ready to take the June test. But I don't think I should postpone again because I have studied for several months. Another three or four months may lead to burnt out, besides my internship starts in July.
However, I am graduating this May from grad school, lots of things going on before graduation. I doubt I will have enough time to score 170s consistently to feel ready for the June test.
Any suggestions/thoughts? Shall I take the June test anyway? Maybe cancel the score if I performed badly?
Thanks for your time!
@msami1010493 I didn't know for sure if I am scoring within my target range. I have exhausted all fresh tests (post 30s). PT77 was the only new one I have and I fully simulated the test condition because I wanted to use it to gauge my progress and readiness for the real thing. I did think that I have made some progress so far but my experience with PT77 suggested that it may not be sufficient to score higher.
I am definitely starting the next fall. Now what I am concerned about is whether a similar score or even a cancellation will hurt my chances getting into those schools that I have a shot?
