If your goal is Yale or Stanford, I'd wait until you are consistently getting that 175+ that you are capable of, but otherwise go ahead and take it in Dec and again in Feb or June for next cycle if necessary. Most schools don't care about multiple scores on record

I think it's typical to miss a few more questions than you would on a PT, but I somehow completely screwed up on one of the LR sections (-12) which the most I ever miss is three or four. Pretty crazy, just have to work toward December and pushing each other for endurance and speed.

It's separate. Don't worry :)

I also did 10 points below by PT average. Not okay, can't wait to get onto the site and see what happened. December 6!

another one in the same situation. My BR is always 177-180, but timed exams rarely crack 166. This is frustrating, but we can do it! (No strategies or help, just commiserating)

Not in NYC but heck, I need some people to whip me if I don't do my timed PTs when I say

Definitely plenty of space in the test booklet to take notes and for completing games. Probably best to circle questions that you are unsure about and go back if you have time. Good luck studying!

@ - I figured the way to go was to start doing everything with really restrictive timing as some people have mentioned on here--like 7 mins per RC passage--but am curious if anyone here has had success getting over the mid-160s hump

@ -- When I BR I'm consistently above 170 but the mistakes I make under timed conditions are consistent and don't seem to be getting better. My errors are pretty even across all sections and are mostly due to not reading carefully enough and this is something I don't know how to study for except maybe to just do a million tests. I'm taking in December, but barring a miracle will be taking again in June for next cycle. Thanks for the positive feedback, though!

I have this problem with the exam in general. I've been studying a couple hours a day since June. My diagnostic was 163 and the PTs I took this weekend were 164 and 162. It's really disheartening to think that I may just me maxed out and the errors I'm making are due to a gap in my mental capacity

I'm planning to do 3 timed sections tonight and two tomorrow + some review of rules that I know I struggle with then take Friday as chill. I'm not convinced that there is much benefit to "cramming" for the LSAT. Wear layers, go to the bathroom before the test, bring something yummy for snack/drink, and know how to work your watch. Those are things that you have control over at this point that will help the day go by fast and smoothly.

I'm in the same boat. After an original diagnostic in May of 163 and the summer studying, I was disappointed on the Sept exam. My timed PTs lately have been around 165-168 and BR usually bumps up 5-7 points. I'm looking to get full or close to full scholarship at WUSTL or similarly ranked school. @, I think you should drill RC for maybe a whole week and get some speed there. That's my plan for this week since it is also my weakest section.

I don't think it matters what kind of drink it is. And I had people at my site in September with like 10 pencils.
