E introduces new information that suggests that it is not merely the microwave which destroys enzymes, but concentrations of heat created by the microwave. If this is true, it does not logically follow that the microwave, rather than heat, is to answer for the reduction in enzymes, because heat is the method through which the microwave reduces the number of enzymes.
I'm a bit late to this but would love to be added!
