Does anyone know if we are allowed to use a pen on the July-Flex exam?
I know for in person digital exams they began allowing pens but on the Law Hub website it says only pencils... is this outdated or updated?
Kaplan sucks. My advice would be to not give up. It looks bad right now, but if you are doing PT's and scoring in the upper 150s, a lot of the concepts are already locked in your head. Try scheduling the test for a later date that way you have plenty of time with 7Sage, it makes a big difference. In terms of anxiety, I began yoga during LSAT prep and that has helped soo much! I also make sure to exercise regularly, sleep early, and take magnesium (which also helps with anxiety). My test scores improved so much by little factors I was changing outside of practice. Do not give up on yourself. Keep your head up, you got this!!
Hello! I am also taking the July LSAT and am interested

I had the same exact problem. Take a break!!! Your lifestyle outside of the LSAT actually matters more than the actual studying. Make sure you're limiting your study hours and doing things that are fun/taking care of yourself. I also incorporated a day off every week which helped break that plateau.
Interested!
I woke up early for a month (around 4:30am) and studied for almost eight hours a day. I ended up burning out, and so I took a week to kind of "relax" and do some light studying. I now wake up around 9-10am and only study for a maximum of three hours while working in a non-profit. I found that my scores on problem sets are so much better now. I don't think you have to wake up early and study so much to do well. Your brain needs time to retain the information that you feed it. Make sure that even if you can't sleep that early, you are still getting enough sleep because your body and brain need rest to reach your potential. I was hitting a wall when I was waking up early every day (I am also not an early bird). I scored a consistent 160 on five practice tests that month. I am excited to see my score in the next practice test that I take.
Logic Games is my favorite section, scoring -0 or -1. I drilled and foolproof'ed, taking it section by section instead of full practice tests. In my opinion, this led me to utilize my own strategies and know exactly when to draw multiple templates and which notations to use. The good thing is that logic games is the easiest section to improve on, so once you keep doing it, it will come almost naturally!!
