Does anyone know? Is it the same format as on the paper tests (five to ten words per line or so with questions to the side) or something else?

@ no I had that one, one about financial services in developing countries, the universe expanding, and and a comic strip. That’s intersecting; I thought they were keeping the sections intact and just switching up the sections, but I guess they’re mixing up the individual RC passages
@ I had the same test I think. The expanding space passage was tough but I thought the questions weren’t easy. That was honestly one of the easiest LG sections I’ve had which was nice, because that’s normally my worst section. I thought LR was pretty standard, there were two or three questions I wasn’t 100% sure about, but I can’t remember what they were now
Did anyone have the passage about legal theories of ownership. One of the more difficult RC passages in recent memory for me. The other passages, as well as LG and LR, were pretty easy though.
How long did the stuff with your proctor take you guys before actually starting the test? As in how long after your scheduled start time did you begin your test?
You can’t see your score until the 19th I think it is, regardless of whether or not you got the score preview.
You can't see your score until it is submitted.
Keep practicing really understanding the prompts as you do questions. You will get faster over time. Rushing and trying to go fast is how you miss questions.
Does anyone know whether the next section begins immediately at the end of 35 minutes on the previous section? Or does the proctor control it?
Not answering your original question but I wouldn't recommend writing about your low gpa in your personal statement. I would just use and addendum if you want to address the low gpa and write your personal statement about a different topic, ideally one that highlights your positive attributes.
Start doing a timed section every day or every other day. Review every question that you weren't sure about. If you do that you'll be good to go.
I believe they have a practice test on there you can take to see the interface.
Same here. Congrats guys
Try to focus on understanding what you're reading and not rushing. If you're missing that many each section you would be better off not even getting to the last passage and trying to get complete accuracy on the questions you attempt. When I first started doing RC I was missing a lot of questions because I was rushing through the passage and not understanding what I was reading. You gotta understand every sentence that you read, and if you don't understand one you gotta read it again.
They're still useful. With that being said I think the newer RC sections are more difficult overall, so better practice. While the passages may be the same difficulty, or in some cases easier, I find that there are more tempting wrong answer choices in the newer RC sections.
I started having a lot more success when I stopped doing this and just tried to understand each sentence that I was reading. I you understand every sentence you read and the reason the author wrote the passage you will be fine. The paragraph breaks are basically random and I think it is more trouble than it's worth trying to do that.
I would start doing some full times game sections from the 60's onwards and redoing any games you don't get perfect. While the core inferences are the same throughout all the games, I felt that they changed a little in that period. They start adding little twists that can throw you off a little when you first start, so I think they are good to take a look at. I was in the same boat as you like a month and a half ago, but felt a lot better after going through about half of the sections from 60 to most recent.
Taking it on the first I mean.
Got mine back tonight after taking it on the 18th. I was worried about the same thing, don't worry about it! I'm sure it will get approved in the next day or two.
I got my writing approved tonight after taking it sep 1. I'm sure you guys will get approved before the 18th. Good luck everybody!
/It may be a decent indicator, but what's the point? Are you all out of fresh exams? Unless you've finished all the the exams in the 60s 70s and 80s I would probably opt for a new exam over retaking an old one personally.
I did mine on September 1 and am still waiting. Hopefully we can see our scores the day they are released.
It depends on the test. For one of the practice tests on here with 3 sections I got 12 wrong and got a 166. I think that is probably pretty accurate.
Am I unable to blind review a section of a PT until I have completed all four sections? If not, could somebody explain how to do it? Thanks.
It needs to be submitted and processed. I’m gonna do mine tomorrow or the next day cause it says it could take up to 3 weeks to be processed.
Interesting*
