If you already have a writing sample from a previous exam I don't think you have to complete another. I am assuming LSAC will send an email tomorrow about completing the writing b/c they say it will open 8 days before the exam?

TY 7Sage!!!!

10 point increase after 8 months of basically full time studying!!! 144 to 154!!! I am a little disappointed because my 25 practice tests were low 160's consistently but the test day nerves got the best of me!!!! I am not really an anxious person and I usually am calm if I am taking a test of any sort but I really underestimated the mental aspect of this test. Not really sure how to work on this but just some thoughts for Jan / Feb test takers. I did so many logic games over and over again and I felt like I really knew what I was doing going into the test and then BAM, a brutal reading comp section. Just derailed my confidence for that first section. Oh well!!! My gpa is a 3.6 so I am hoping this will also help. I am definitely applying for fall 2021: ) if anyone wants to compare personal statements or addendums let me know : )

On the bright side, I started a full time legal assistant job this week in the middle of the pandemic that is cool with me leaving for school next fall!! Trying to look on the bright side. Thanks to this community and positive words of encouragement the past few months. Just reading some posts and comments on here throughout my studying has made all the difference

I think some other people on 7sage said that it usually opens about 2 weeks before the test? LSAC will send an email when they have it open. I am expecting it to be sometime at the end of this week / over the weekend

yes I am the same way!! before taking a timed PT I do some light stretching / yoga to help ease my mind and get my body actually ready to sit for a few hours. This usually helps me and if I am still feeling anxious during the test I just take one minute or so to refocus. even though you do lose a bit a time i feel like its helpful overall if you can calm your nerves for the remainder of the test.

Yoga with Adrienne on youtube is really great she has tons of videos for anything you could want. Stay strong you got this!!!!

Similar argument :

People think that oak trees are better than maple trees but the true test of a better tree is the thickness of the trunk. Maple trees are the better tree - NA would be that maple trees have thicker trunks than oak trees

Have faith in your abilities!!!!

Just wanted to say that good things come to those who put in the work! Have confidence in yourself, don't get discouraged and take mental health days if you need!!!!! I started 7 sage in March with an initial score in the low 140's and I just hit a new high of 164 on a practice test and a 172 on BR. We got this!!!! I go through the core curriculum if I need to brush up on anything. If you don't understand something the best thing you can do is go back to the videos and review!!!! I am taking the Nov LSAT in a few weeks so heres hoping everything goes well on test day.

Proctor U account?

Hi I am taking the Nov. LSAT and I was just wondering how to create a Proctor U account? Does LSAC send you info on how to create an account? I was just trying to make sure my computer had everything it needed before the test but when I go to Proctor U and try to test it out I need to log in? I don't have an account and if I try to register under "LSAC" for the institution it does not let me. Just wondering if anyone knew anything. I called Proctor U and they said I have to call LSAC. I have been on hold for about 30 minutes and no one has picked up. Any help would be great!! Thanks

I took it yesterday. RC felt like a blur. it was my first section and my anxiety was through the roof!! it took me a while to calm down. LG and LR were pretty standard. I have no clue how I did : ' )

Picking a school

Hey everyone,

I took the November lsat. I went through the whole application process and have some solid options for fall 2021. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on picking a school. Deposits are due April 15 so time is winding down :’) I received a full ride to a “lower ranked” school and substantial scholarship at some sorta higher ranked schools (nothing T1 the LSAT wouldn’t allow it:’)))) I am on the wait list for my top school (T2) which I knew would be a reach anyway due to my lsat being below their median.

I know more goes into this decision than rankings (I hate them!!!) I wasn’t really able to visit many places due to COVID - a lot of schools are still virtual or hybrid or just not doing in person tours. Hard to get a feel of where I could see myself for 3 years. I have been looking at employment outcomes and bar passage rates and where alumni are located. I’ve lived in Pennsylvania my whole life and I am perfectly happy living here and practicing law here. I’m not aiming for BigLaw - I really don’t see the point in selling my life away to be knees deep in debt at a job I hate?!?

Would you take the full ride to the lower ranked school? Or would you pay 100K + more for your top choice if lifted from the waitlist? My top choice is in PA, my full ride school is in Ohio. I am confident I can find employment in PA even though I went to school in Ohio. I have professional connections here (I took off some time to work full time before applying to law school).

I guess I really just want to know if anyone has any thoughts - this decision is huge I know. The financial freedom that comes with not paying any tuition is extremely appealing. I have worked and saved and I may not take out a loan for living. Debt free for grad school?!? Ahhhhh!!!!

Thanks in advance
