Learn new LR material before Nov. FLEX or focus on LG?

Hey, I'm aiming for a 165+ on the Nov. LSAT FLEX.

On my last five prep tests, I'm averaging just under that score, around 163 (173 average on BR).

I'm dropping a lot of points on LG with a median score of 15. I'm doing decently on RC, going -2 or -3 on average.

On LR, however, there's definitely room for improvement with a median score of 21/25.

Where do I go from here?

Ideally, I'd like to improve on both my weakest sections, LG and LR. I've been using 7Sage and PowerScore till now.

I heard the The Loophole in LSAT Logical Reasoning by Ellen Cassidy offers a different and effective way to tackle LR, but the book only just arrived in the mail.

Should I try to absorb new material now, or would my time be better spent focusing on LG?

Thanks guys! Best of luck to everyone writing the test in November.

I'm no expert so take this with a grain of salt, but you seem to be losing a lot of points on RC- and that happens to be my strongest section. What questions tend to trip you up there? Are particular passages, e.g. science, topics more difficult for you? Or is it a matter of running out of time?

Either way, I would try to understand why you're dropping points in that area.

And another thing that's worth looking into is where you're still getting questions wrong in BR.

One 7Sager recommended some resources with texts similar to those you find in the RC section: https://classic.7sage.com/discussion/#/discussion/24658

Hope it helps!

I would second Hopeful's comment about question types.

And, since you're able to correct yourself in BR, do you think you're losing marks because you're going through the section too quickly? It might be worth taking a slower approach to the section with more accurate results, even if you have to guess 1-2 questions at the end.
