I don't think you have anything to worry about. I can't imagine LSAC would put test takers at risk when there isn't a vaccine and especially in a state like Florida right now. It is also probably easier for them to give the test Flex rather than worry about putting precaution in place for people to take the test at centers. So I think it is very likely that the October exam will be flex. Hope this helps and good luck!!

Personal Statement review/help!

Hey friends! I am in the process of finishing my personal statement and I would really like to get a few opinions before the final send off with my applications. Besides the people that wrote me my LOR's, does anyone know of a resource that will help you with your personal statement revisions? Also, I don't want to spend thousands of dollars so I am not sure if anyone is in the same boat but let me know if you have any suggestions!! Thanks in advance!

I got this question wrong because the word "solely" in AC D seemed really strong to me. Am I wrong to be thinking that about MSS questions? Should I steer clear of eliminating questions based on whether or not a word is too strong? #help

@ this is extremely helpful, thank you!! I figured it would be better to hold off until November if I wasn't scoring how I wanted to on PT's. I know that time is what is holding me back from reaching my BR score so I will focus on that and hopefully improve enough in time for the October one. Even if I wait until December to apply, roughly around when I would get my November score back, I think that is early enough to still have a good chance.

Hi I would love to join this if it is still possible!!

Okay someone PLEASE help me. So I am planning on taking the November 14th LSAT (just under 4 months from now) but I have heard that it is beneficial to apply early decision to my #1 school if I want a better chance of being accepted. The problem is, the ED application deadline for my school is November 15th.

-Do you think it is wise to apply to a school, just to be considered ED, even before receiving my score? If not, should I plan to take the October LSAT instead? My BR score is right where I want to be but I have yet to get there in the timed PT. OR, should I just plan on taking the November LSAT and apply in December when I get my score? If I do this, will it hurt my chances of admission because it is not considered Early Decision? My schools is not in the T50 so I don't know if that helps me really.

I really need help so I would appreciate any input at all. Thank you guys!!!

do we have to create a proctoru account prior to signing up for our test day/time? I haven't heard anything about this and I want to make sure I get the date I want because it is the only day I am available. Also, how do I sign up for ProctorU?

@ thank you so much for your comment! I completely agree with you. Everyone learns at a different pace and I just have to remember that I may be someone who needs more time and practice

Hey- nothing to report because I am also still working through the CC but I just wanted to let you know that I am in the same boat (same diagnostic and goal score). I haven't started doing PT's yet and I'm worried I will be behind. Thanks for posting this poll, it motivated me to keep going. Good luck on the rest of your CC and on the LSAT!

This is so inspiring and motivating. I am currently in a similar situation. A low diagnostic almost caused me to completely throw away the idea of law school but I am so glad I kept with my studies because I am starting to see improvement not only in my test taking, but also in my confidence. Keep up the good work!

Nov Flex score- happy crying. Thank you 7sage!!!

Just wanted to hop on here for the last time and say thank you to everyone at 7sage. I increased my score 8 points from my last LSAT and performed better than a majority of my PT's !! I know that isn't much to some people but considering how discouraged I was starting to feel after my last few PT's and after even taking the November Flex- I couldn't be happier.

For anyone that is currently studying for the LSAT and feeling discouraged or helpless- please hang in there. It is so easy to throw in the towel and give up when you just can't get that one problem set or you have no motivation to take a PT but I need to remind you that there is a reason you are studying for this test and going to law school so push through and you will absolutely see results. Good luck to everyone that is taking future tests, you will ace it!!!

Side note, I have both gently used and new LSAT prep books including Powerscore Bibles (LG and LR), LSAT Trainer and volumes 5 and 6 of the 10 actual and official PT's so message me if you are interested in buying them discounted. Honestly just looking to get them off my hands.

Strategies for improving LG time?

Hey everyone! I am looking for some awesome strategies on improving timing for LG. I noticed that most of the time, I can do LG to complete perfection in blind review or when I practice untimed (bad habit, I know). But during timed conditions, I ALWAYS run out of time from spending too much time up front on the first game. The only thing that has made somewhat of a difference thus far is doing all of the "if" questions first and then going back and doing the other questions that don't present new info. So if anyone has any time-saving tips I would be forever grateful!!!

Hi Sonya!! My name is Gina and I am also taking the LSAT for one last time in November but I find myself struggling to get motivated. I took the LSAT last September and I did not perform as well as I hoped. I am planning on applying to law schools come December/January so it is of the utmost importance that I perform my best in November. I really want to improve my score and make this test count so I would love to take part in a study group that holds each other accountable 👍🏻

I am in the exact same boat as you. My diagnostic was 146 in June 2020 and now I am BRing at 162 with a 154 score. Although my ideal score is 165, I would be happy to surpass 160 so I am really trying to close that gap before November. 160 is well above the median of the school I want to attend so I am hoping a 160 is in my cards because it would really help my application. I would love to know those LG tips you learned or any other tips people have on closing the BR score gap. Good luck to you on your November test!

@ thank you, that is so helpful! I think I am going to stick with the November test anyways. I took PT40 today and my score and the BR score difference improved significantly. Hopefully it stays that way when I take the next PT tomorrow (pray for me). Good luck in November! You got this 👍🏻

@ I was wondering the same thing about PT39, it seemed like the only test where my actual score has ever dropped so low, causing my score difference to be so high- so frustrating! I just took PT40 and my score bumped back up so I guess that makes sense. Thank you for your comment and the feedback!!!

@ thank you so much for your comment and words of encouragement- you really snapped me out of my self pity lol I think I have been putting too much pressure on this November test which ultimately makes me more anxious whenever I take a PT and could be contributing to my timing issues and score gap. I obviously need to make sure that doesn't happen when I take the actual test. I will definitely start to implement some of your strategies and thank you so much again for your comment!!

@ I really appreciate your comment and I am so happy I am not alone with this! I am trying to not let this one PT get me down because I know feeling sorry for myself is quite unproductive. The good thing is that we still have a good bit of time until the November test to improve on our timing and on sections we need the most help with. I want to wish you the best of luck on the remainder of your studying- I know you will do fantastic in November! ☺️

Feeling discouraged-poor PT

Hey guys-I need some advice after just receiving the lowest score on a PT that I have ever gotten (pre-BR). I just took PT 39 flex and the difference from my pre and post BR score is 11 points and I was not expecting that. I am registered for the November LSAT but after this review, I am feeling so discouraged and beaten down. I have put in SO much work and I know I am capable of reaching my ideal score in BR but after seeing how big of a difference there was between my two scores on this test- I don't know what to do. I would really appreciate any advice/guidance at all (seriously, any).

I would appreciate advice on how to bridge the gap between my pre and post BR scores. It seems like my worst section is RC and I know that is the toughest to improve on in a short amount of time so I have been putting more of my focus on LG/LR and I have been seeing improvements, so I think I did the right thing?? Give me your thoughts.

Also, do I postpone my test until January? I was planning on applying in December but getting a good score is of the utmost importance for me mostly because my GPA is right at median for my target school.

I greatly appreciate any help!!!! I would also be willing to give more details in private messages if needed.

I had LG-RC-LR and it was fairly good I think. RC was more doable than I anticipated, most of LR was good but was running short on time with LG. Overall though I feel really good about it! Congratulations to everyone that took this exam during such a crazy time- we did it guys!!!!

Hey there! I have been debating the same thing myself and it seems like a big decision to make so I have gathered quite a bit of advice from others. From what I understand, the earlier you apply the better. If you have a #1 school that you know, without a doubt, you would attend if you got accepted, then it might be worth while to apply early decision. There will be more money to give out higher scholarships and your chances of being accepted may be slightly higher (so I have been told). However, if you are planning on taking the LSAT again and you think your score will increase in that time, it might be good to apply regular decision with a higher LSAT score than early decision with a lower score. I know it's frustrating because there seems to be no clear cut answer but it really just depends on the school, your LSAT score and if you can put together an application that you are proud of before the early decision deadline.

Personally, I am planning on taking the LSAT in November but the early decision deadline for my #1 school is literally the day after the LSAT. I have been going back and forth with whether I should take the October one instead so I can get my score and apply early OR if I wait until November, improve my score (every bit counts, right?) and apply in early December when I get my score. From the research I have done and the people I have talked to, December is still early in the application cycle so you are by no means applying "late" if you do not apply early decision.

All in all, you have to make a decision that you feel 100% confident in. You don't want to submit an application and then have regrets about scores, personal statements etc. Sorry for the long response but I really hope this helps. Good luck with the LSAT/application process!! Reach out to me if you have any more questions or if you need some help because I feel like we are in the same boat.

As far as the addendum goes, once you start your application for any given school there will be various sections you have to complete such as uploading your personal statement, resume etc.. The place to upload the addendum will most likely be in one of the last 2-3 sections of the application. I browsed applications last fall and that is what I remember so I don't know if they have changed it for this application cycle but I would look there. I hope that helps and good luck with the application process!

I personally think that 7sage is well worth the investment. I studied on my own for almost 6 months last year- I purchased basically every LSAT book I could get my hands, did a few preptests and then took the test in September 2019. Let's just say my score was definitely not what I know I am capable of. I think 7sage has helped me truly understand the content of each section of the LSAT and how to master it. I have seen such an improvement in my score and also my confidence in actually understanding the material. I am signed up for the LSAT again this November and besides the fact that it is flex (ugghhh), I really feel like I can do well because of 7sage.

Long story short, it is definitely worth it no matter how much time you have (obviously the more time you have, the more you will get out of the course). I know it is pricey but what helped me bite the bullet was thinking "okay yes I have to pay this much now, but it will help me score higher on my lsat...which will help me get into my dream school.... which will open numerous doors for me." and it has absolutely paid off. It's a small price to pay to help you down the road. I know this sounds like an infomercial or something but I swear I truly believe this. The LSAT is a beast but 7sage has helped immensely and I am so very grateful. My only regret is not purchasing it sooner.
