I took the March test, but my goal was to take two test this year, i'm having a baby late June, and the June 3rd test seems really close, and the July test, well i'll have a newborn to deal with so I'm thinking go for the September test. (even though i wanted to avoid the digital) My game plan, is to start from scratch, zero out my CC and start from scratch really get back to the basics and get the core down 100% and then start the PTs again, does that seems like a waste of time? I need some advise here guys.

If I start Fall 2020, I will be 28 at that time. I just turned 27 in January. I totally feel you on the feeling behind thing lol. But I feel like I'm entering law at the perfect age because I'm sure of it now. I don't care for partying, going out on weekends, etc like I would've maybe in my early 20s. I'm pretty dedicated to this now and don't believe I would've been back then. So it's a good thing!
thats a great mind set, congratulations.
i'm averaging -2 but i'm down with -0 i'll msg you private !
If you can get a 170+ you can get into a t14 school, use the 7sage predictor where you put in your gpa and lsat school and it shows you the percentage of chance for each school, lets just say if i get a 180 i'm still not getting into Harvard lol, BUT, from a 160 to a 165 the doors of possibilities that open up are numerous.
I had a similar question on a previous post, i think the general consensus is, take your time with the CC and get it down solid, 170 is an ambitious goal in general, specially by july, i'm sure you can do it, what helps me with the CC is the the speed regulator on the videos, if something feels redundant, instead of skipping or ignoring i pay its at 1.4 speed, if i see i got lost i slow it down. There are a lot of variables to consider, your schedule being one, i can only study 3-4 hrs a day, so i'm aiming for september. well good luck hope i helped.

Maybe keep your options open--June, July, or September; enjoy this precious time for your family as well.
i know i love hanging out with the family, my oldest is walking now so i dont want to miss him learnign about life, but i know i need to take this test to give him a better future so its a hard balance act.

This may seem like blasphemy to some, but if the CC isn't working for you, please branch out to other well-reviewed methods. I put all my eggs in the 7Sage basket, it wasn't clicking for me but I LOVED and still love the community, and I found my stride with another curriculum. Don't tread water or try to skate through peanut butter. I'm also a mommy, so best of luck with your new bundle!! (3(/p)
what other curriculum did you use? i thought abotu taking testmaster live course that begins in april, then I thought maybe i should really focus on every aspect of the 7sage CC and improve as much as I can, i even reached out to some of the tutors here. For example I'm awesome at the games, in LR, I get all my MP questions so I would skip those and focus on RC SA NA etc etc.. But i am not agaisnt trying other things. i'll try anything once lol
Good luck! it was a good question, i cam here to snoop on the answers lol
OHHHH SHIT I just got that feeling we all get after a Rocky movie montage, I need to break some plateaus!!!

Also, congratulations!!!
Thank you! i'm very close to the 160 i'm at 159ish, but i think i even made out a decent 15hour a week study schedule, skipping most of the game section ( i average -1, -2 on the game) it will get me to doing PTs by mid june at a rate of 2 per week, i'll get done before the test. sounds solid and not over kill. i think lol

Hey bro. I'm a Dad like you, but parenting from a distance. I'm timing my prep before I scoop my kids for the summer. Inbox me, Im actively employing the advice 4 guys (two of which are dads) gave me. It worked for them (graduated Yale, HLS, and one is getting ready to graduate from Columbia). Seems to be working well for me. Happy to chat over the phone if easier. I'll cericle back to this thread in a couple of hours.
thank you, i'll hit you up soon
I can only wish i had started as early as you, if you're discipline is on point you will get that 170 guarantee, two years will allow you the time you need to become a master at the core curriculum and then take PTs at a once a week pace. Congrats on the early start!
lets get drunk and do logic games, 1 shot for every wrong answer
honestly i love seeing older generation posting in the 40s and up, i have always felt like i started school late because i did my time in the army, but this motivates me, I am turning 35 in May, hopefully I will be starting law school at 35 or 36

I had LG-LR-LR-RC-LR, all my LR sections had 25 questions. I can say that I definitely did not have any two questions sharing one stimulus nor any questions about blood transfusions.
I'm hoping my second LR was the experimental, everything is kinda blurring together now but I'm positive I had questions in LR regarding:
TMAO/carnitine
bean/medieval agriculture
road repairs
replacing washing machines
disagree over: mayor popularity
disagree over: proposal for chemical plant on lake
parallel reason using aliens
Definitely in my LR3 -- Pharmacist recommendation to doctor, wild animal comparison to dogs, adults and child learning through play
LG: Wu/Zahn, criminals and day trips
RC: labor law, hominids, argentinian lit
Yes, for the LR, I remember the TMAO/carnitine (though I don't remember which one of my 3 LR sections it was). I remember the chemical plant, and the pharmacist recommendation and adult/child play/learning Qs.
So do we think this means that the test is only 100 questions (and that 26-Q LR I had was experimental??)
We had the same test, i cant remember any of the test but seeing your post it all kind of came back, the anxiety, the tears and impending feeling of doom.
@skatherine018410 maybe you surprised yourself! PS - you going to UConn?
IF my score permits me... yes, i get tuition waiver form the army so its basically free school, only paying for the fees, but i'm already back on the studying wagon getting ready for the june test.

@jy-ping.Y. Ping Will the digital tester eventually be able to be used on tablets so as to imitate test-day conditions to the greatest extent? Also, would you be willing to eventually upload live commentary of you or another 7Sager taking a test on a tablet in the near future? The exact settings, movements, use of the scrap paper, and use of the stylus on the tablet would be incredibly informative!
That sounds like a good idea!
@jmarmaduke96714 said:
@tsheber1688 I don't believe so, J.Y. seemed to indicate that the stylus does not include the ability to write freehand on the test. However the interface will allow you to highlight certain sections and color code them. So while it might take slightly longer, you could highlight the premise in yellow and the conclusion in pink for example
I like that, I guess its all about practice I need to actually try this out

i'm always baffled but how everyone remembers questions and sections, all i remember is.. 3 LR sec 1 rc 1 lg, and some writing question about musicians, everything else i a complete blur. I was happy to see 3 LR and not 2 RC!
Definitely doing this !

I will be 63. Murray Shusterman practiced law until he was 104. That’s my goal. Right now I practice dentistry 40 hours/week. If the LSAT goes well this year I hope to start law school next year. I’m already taking Torts in a paralegal program. If I bomb the LSAT I will work as a paralegal; maybe for one of you!!
AND YOU ARE MY HERO, thats an amazing goal, and you wont bomb the lsat, you're life knowledge and dedication will get you through it, you can sue people and critique their teeth haha
