#19: Though all the other answers are dumb, I feel like A also isn't satisfactory because of the statement "Neutrinos, which come in three types, are by bar the most numerous particle in the universe;". In other words, there are more neutrinos than non-neutrinos.
I felt like AC E was wrong because it was supposed to say: "A great novel cannot both be dramatic and science fiction." Because the commentator clearly thinks the novel is great, but is classifying it as dramatic rather than science fiction.
I've run into your helpful comments many times during the curriculum, proud of you! Hopefully I can do the same in April!
(A) should be correct. The arguer states that "because it makes people happy, it's a good reform". (A) states that different things make different people happy. What if his new social reform was to make rape legal? That would certainly make some awful people happy. Or to allow child abuse to be filmed and broadcasted, that would make some sick people happy. Just because it makes people happy does not mean it's a good reform. Yet another stupid question made by the LSAC...
EDIT: I see how (D) could work because making one of those awful reforms legal would make a lot of other people unhappy, and decrease the sum total of happiness but still, too much ambiguity in LSAT questions.
(A) can't be right, because many more people could mean 5,000 people 1 time. Whereas other medicines could be administered to the same 3000 people 3 times or more.
Ugh read Q13's stem wrong...: She proposed an alternative TO THE VIEW that prevailed in her time. It wasn't her alternative view that prevailed...
Ridiculous question. A is right apparently because assuming that the reason the birds built their nest at the base of trees strengthens the argument by giving them an easy access to a tree to climb and glide from is too big of a leap. But E is wrong because the assumption that birds predators not being able to climb trees would force the birds to mainly live in trees isn't too big of a leap? Cool.
Another stupid question. Here LSAC, Let me help you with the CORRECT question stem for answer choice C: "The argument follows logically if which of the following is assumed?"
The answer was obviously A or D, and since D compared two groups (those who exercise and those who don't) I eliminated it. A talked about the effects of mercury on dolphins (logos on children) which made it naturally seem like the right answer choice. People really overcomplicated this question.
