Are you giving yourself enough practice? Do you drill consistently every day or most days? This might not apply to you, but I recently realized I wasn't giving myself enough practice, I was mostly just doing all the lessons and feeling awesome about progressing through the curriculum without actually taking full sections very often.

why 'some' is implied by 'all': think of 'some' like a building block. you can't have 'all' without adding up a bunch of 'somes'. if you turned to me and said "I have all your money", I wouldn't be wrong to reply "well, then you've got some of my money". of course, you've already told me you have all of my money so my reply would be a weird one, but it's technically accurate to say you have 'some' since you have 'all'

as to negations, I wouldn't actually say that 'some' negates 'all'. that makes it sound like 'some' is an agent when it's not. 'some' is actually more of a by-product.

let's say we want to negate "all americans like to eat fish". the negated version would be "it's not the case that all americans like to eat fish". and that leaves us with the following: some americans don't like to eat fish. that's why I say 'some' is a by-product. it's what you're left with after you've negated an 'all' claim.
