Active-Duty Military Study Plan

I've taken full advantage of remote-working over the past few weeks to focus primarily on the LSAT. I've seen meaningful progress and a slight bump in my PTs because of the quality and quantity of time I've committed to studying. Now that quarantine appears to be loosening its grip for those in different work situations, I can't help but think of how much time I WON'T be able to dedicate towards studying.

Are there other Active E's or O's also studying for the LSAT?

How are others with demanding job hours - anything outside 9-6 - looking to prioritize studying? What did you all do prior to the pandemic?

NA vs SA

What is the primary difference between Necessary Assumption Qs and Sufficient Assumption Qs? Both are required to make the argument valid but I'm not quire sure how the answer choices differ.

You'll take the test on LawHub. If you're able to minimize the screen with your preferred browser using that platform, there shouldn't be a difference on the test the day of unless your proctor says something.

Hello,

Does anyone know how to sign up for a testing time for the June LSAT Flex? I read on LSAC it was supposed to let you choose today, but I haven't seen anything or received any instructions like they said.

Is there something I'm missing?

If you enter the Proctor U website and select "forgot password" and use your LSAC associated e-mail, you will be able to access your account.

Also, working full-time so if anyone has a schedule to suggest that'd be lovely!

I've taken the LSAT twice 149 June 2020 and 161 October 2020. I am aiming to re-take the LSAT in June of 2022 after having taken about a 12 month "break." It was never intended to be a break (lol).

Does anyone have any strategies for returning to studying? Today, I'm beginning my journey back on the LSAT train having dedicated over 10 months to studying prior. I've done a majority of the PTs and am looking for tips on how to keep things fresh and engaging. I've also completed to core curriculum.

I'm also interested in knowing this. Also does anyone know if there are limited spots at a specific time? So for example.... if all the 12:30pm slots are taken does that mean you have to choose another one?

There are limited spots at a specific time, from what I've read and heard from May Flex takers.

June LSAT Time Sign-up

Does anyone know if we need to create a Proctor U account? Has anyone received instructions on how to sign up for time slots tomorrow morning?

TLDR: Can 7sage please create 3 Section LSAT Prep Tests for students who are currently now prepping for the LSAT-Flex?

Since the format of the new exam is different in that we do 3 back-to-back sections, rather than 2 sections, break, 2 sections, I am sure many of us are trying to adjust our practice test setup to mimic actual testing conditions.

Currently, our options to do so are either to

create our own problem sets out of prep test sections, which means we don't get score conversions and data about our performance doesn't show up in the analytics tool, or

we take a 4-section LSAT and skip the 2nd Logical Reasoning, which means that in the analytics tool our scores are WAY lower because we get 0/26 on one section.

3 Section LSATs would be really, really helpful. Thank you!

I've been thinking about the same thing and have essentially landed on two options.

Take a 3 section Problem Set and do the 4th as a timed section later on during the week as practice. Then punch in so we can use the analytics.

Take the 4 section PrepTest in preparation for LSATs down the line.

I think the flex is unusual and practicing to "flex standards" may impact my ability to perform when it returns back to normal five sections. Having said that, I am like everyone in that I don't know when the normal testing conditions will return. I'd rather prepare for a harder version than available.

Study Group for Nov/Jan LSAT

Hello all,

I'm looking to form/join a study group. The idea is to form a group(s) of 3-4 to go Blind Review sections together, discuss strategy on sections, and help ourselves find flaws and better methods forward.

We'd BR together on weekends via Zoom. I'm not dead-set on taking it in November but will definitely be taking it in January.

Either comment on the post or send me a direct message and we could start this upcoming Saturday/Sunday.

@ I'm curious, how many PT's did you use to study sections for? Or did you just take PT's and that's it?

I've used numerous PTs from 1-30 to study sections and some scattered ones here. I've done the CC from 7Sage and used other resources. As for actual PTs, I've taken two in the 80s leading up to the June Flex only because I didn't want to burn through the most recent ones.

You Should take a PT ___ Often!

After getting thoroughly clapped on the June LSAT (8 Points lower than my PT average), I figured many factors could've played into it. I've taken 18 PTs all-time.

For those who have taken an administered test or are close to taking their administered LSAT, how many Practice Tests have you taken and would wish to take?

Are you sure?
