Hello! I am back to studying for the LSAT (in April/June) after previously taking it twice. I took it once in 2019 and once in 2021. I was so sure that 2021 was going to be the last time I took the test, I ended up using most of the recent prep tests. Now 3 years later, I have technically already taken a bunch of the most recent prep tests. Have folks experienced this before? Any advice on how to handle? I don't really expect myself to remember prep tests from 3+ years ago so I am wondering if I should just delete my old tests and redo those tests since they are the most like the tests I am studying for. But, I don't want to delete old tests/data if retaking tests I've already taken won't actually be helpful. Any thoughts or experiences from others? Thanks!

I'm taking my second LSAT in June and currently the thing holding me back from a 170+ score is my RC score. This is mostly super frustrating because I took the LSAT for the first time two years ago and it was my best section on paper. Just not seeing my previous success translate to the digital test. Any tips on how you all annotate (on your computer) or take notes (on paper) would be incredibly helpful. Currently scoring -6/-7, whereas my LG is -1/-2 and LR -2/-3.
Please help!
Hello!
I took the July 2019 LSAT and got a decent score, but have decided to retake this fall to try to boost my score in order to potentially get scholarship money. I really liked using 7Sage the first time studying, but I almost completely went through the lessons when I did it the first time so I'm wondering if it will be as effective the second. I am a year removed from studying and didn't go through a ton of the PTs so I'm wondering if there is anyone who has used 7Sage for two different tests (maybe with some time removed) and what they thought of it!
Thanks!
That makes sense, thank you! I think sometimes I definitely get caught up with opinions or knowledge outside a passage and it can definitely trip me up. @
Hello!
I am terrible at distinguishing the author's tone, or opinion, or really make any inference in terms of the RC passages. Also application questions I tend to also miss. It's severely bringing down my score. If anyone has any tips on how best to tackle these questions, let me know!
Trying to debate whether to take the June test or move my test to August so time is kinda short. Thank you!
Hello!
I took the test the first time July 2019 right when they began to switch to digital (I had a paper test) and got a 163. This was after only a month and a half of studying, using only 7Sage and I improved from a 154 diagnostic. I am looking to take the test again before applying this fall and would like to improve my score to either high 160s (168-169) or to the 170s (which obviously would be ideal). Ideally I would take it in April (before I have to start going back into work). So I have a few questions:
Thanks in advance for any help or advice!
This is fantastic advice thank you! Do you recommend avoiding any prep tests during the week? (for reference I also have a job from 9-6pm)
@ thank you so so much. This is super helpful!
@ Thank you for the advice! That definitely could be true, but those last three tests have been from the last three weeks. Have 4 more 80s PTs so want to try to do those, but might just do them as practice problems instead of full length tests?
How do you do your drills? Especially having trouble with reading sections.
Hello.
As many, feeling incredibly discouraged and stressed leading up to the June 2021 LSAT test in just a week and a half. I am frustrated because two months ago I was able to break 170, but since then my score has dropped. My last three practice tests have been a 165 (Prep Test 84), 167 (85), and a 166 (86). My blind reviews are typically higher than 170 (although my last one was 168 - just not my best test). I am planning on really buckling down and taking multiple practice tests/problems in the week and a half, but wondering if I will need to set my expectations lower on what I'm likely to get on the actual test. I'm hoping to get at least a 168, but not even sure if I'm going to hit that at this point.
At this point I am not going to reschedule (plus I would have to almost restart studying because I am used to the three sections) so just looking for either encouragement or the need to lower my expectations.
Thanks!
So my April LSAT score was a bust, so going to gear up to take it in June. Any recommendations for a 6 week study sprint? My best section is Logic Games so truly going to be my last time to take the test with the best conditions possible. I studied a couple hours 6 days a week from February - April (with tutoring) and was pretty consistently scoring above what I got on the April test. Think I got tripped up just through general test-day anxiety (and what I thought was a super difficult RC section). Should I just try to take as many PTs as possible the next 6 weeks? Should I do more drills? Go back to some of the basics? Little lost here.
Truly so frustrated by my April score and June will be unfortunately my 4th time taking the test, so any words of wisdom or success stories to make me feel some hope would be lovely.
Interested as well!
