Dillon, really don't sweat it too much. Don't psych yourself out either worry that the more recent tests are more difficult. They really aren't. And in fact to refute the ball busting theory that was posed, if you take a look at PT 73 there were 4 medium level games with no real killer. Things cycle in and out with games so you never really know what you're going to get. Sometimes it'll be 2 easy 1 tough and 1 killer and other times it'll be more balanced. But don't worry if you've taken many PTs you'll be prepared and at least have a grasp of what's thrown at you on test day.

As for RC I too struggle the most with it. And I must say that sadly it has become more difficult, from the high 50s on up. But again, it's not always the case that you'll have brutal passages. It just depends on the day sometimes. Sometimes you really get a good grasp on the passages and things fall into place, so just drill RC as much as you can and you'll be ready. I can again turn to PT 73 which provided a very easy science passage, which many struggle with, and this seemed easier to get through.

Relax, stay focused, and know your preparation will guide you through test day.

How much studying last 2 wks?

I know there's a huge variety of opinions on how much to really study these last few weeks... But how about it? I just took PT 75 today and have BRd half of it and will finish mañana with some additional studying. But how much do you really wanna push it these last few weeks? A few more tests? Just some timed sections and reviewing difficult questions?

I work full time 9-5 and have basically been coming home and studying until I go to bed. I'm feeling pretty worn out as I have been at this for some time. What do you guys think of studying going forward and when to shut it down?

Lack of LG improvement

Just looking for a few tips regarding LG. I've been seemingly stuck around -1 though -4 ish for about 2 months now. I can't quite put my finger on it but I used to think I was making great strides and would soon be able to finish -0 without too much pressure. However I just haven't made the step up I thought I would. I still struggle to finish an LG section that I haven't seen before. I don't think there's any real trends. Sometimes I feel as though an easy game takes a bit too long and sometimes I get stuck with difficult game at the end and lose a few questions.

I have done probably 40-45 PTs and redone many games that I had trouble with. I don't know what else to really do to get those perfect game sections. LG is really vital for me because I feel as though I will need a -0 in games to reach my target score.

Any help would be appreciated into insights/ similar problems for others.

Annoying yes, but why let that affect you? That student taking that risk is really his own delimma and not really any concern. I'm sure those negative thoughts lingered for the last 2 sections. Plus while him scoring better may be aggravating it really doesn't play any role in your test or application process.

The other stuff however definitely I see some concerns. Phones ringing out be quite distracting. But if you have a watch a 5 min warning isn't necessary.

Yeah I'm in a similar situation, definitely retake. Just having the time pressure and taking the tests again will keep you in the flow of the test. Aside from that I would drill any weaknesses you've noticed along the way. Whether it be a whole section or a question type making small gains makes a big difference.

Retakers, when to start studying again?

For the retakers out there.... I think I made a costly error on game 3 (I see I'm not alone there) but anyway I have a feeling I won't be achieving my target score. For those of you in a similar boat, when are you going to kick it back into gear? I had been going pretty hard and was getting pretty tired towards the end and was planning on taking a week off from studying before getting back at it next Monday. Is that too much time off? What're your guys plans of attack going forward?
