I mean I guess I see what he's saying about C not being as direct, but I think that his argument that parents would teach kids about dental hygiene is that strong. We've seen that sex education in schools reduces teen pregnancy, so the implication that it doesn't matter whether schools educate on dental hygiene is not one that I'm buying.

#help Doesn't the phrase "So once the company has moved" imply that there's a change once they move? Implying that they don't have over a 30 minute commute currently?

Like if I were to say "my favorite color is red. So once I move my favorite color will be red", that would be weird? You would expect me to supply some sort change in the second half of that sentence. "I am hungry. So once I eat, I will be hungry." That would be so weird for someone to say??

I'm confused as to how "is consistent" is an accurate paraphrase for "can also"? I read "can also" as like an addition, like there is a standard for something then another thing is thrown on additionally. Where as "is consistent" I thought of as the standard.

My love for The Good Place is consistent with my love for Parks and Rec vs. my love for The Good Place can also support my love for Parks and Rec, have different meanings to me. One feels like a given and the other feels not necessary?

For Q20, I'm confused as to how you're supposed to know who they're talking about when they say they have "access"? Does it mean individuals have access to watch TV? Or that production companies/industries have access to purchase and show international programs? Because those are two different things.

For question 4, I thought the author explicitly said that both national service and taxation require sacrifice? In the passage it says "Implicit in such a context is the concept of shared sacrifice...Thus, each of us must bear a share of the burden to ensure that the community is protected".

Is it because of the word "different"? Like if it just said "required degrees of sacrifice" would that make it right? #help

Wow... this doesn't seem okay. What if someone is unable to borrow, bootcamp, or purchase an external hard drive? This seems like something they should have to address or make accommodations for on their end.

For question 8, doesn't answer C require an assumption that approval of a character means that character ends up happy and disapproval ends up unhappy? How can we assume that?

Just because a character doesn't end up happy doesn't mean the creator "disapproves" of that character. There are a lot of stories where great characters meet unhappy endings because it's a reflection of life. Also, what does it even mean when it says approve or disapprove of a character? Like the author agrees or disagrees with their choices? Or doesn't or does like them as a person? You could assume that any character that makes it into the end product was "approved" in someway by the author for a specific purpose?

Can someone help me understand this answer? #help

I get why B is right, but I'm confused as to what sentence about humans adds to the argument. Even if that sentence was removed, wouldn't you still need to assume that affection sometimes needs to be reciprocated in order to be willing to provide protection? Couldn't you argue that protection is a sign of affection? #help

If 59% of people got question 8 wrong, then it's a bad question. If I wrote something and most people who read it didn't understand it, then I would rewrite what I wrote.

I don't understand why "lack of rain" is such a large stretch/assumption, but a drought isn't? If you have really finicky plants, like all the crops I've tried to grow, it just takes like 1 afternoon of too much sun or not enough water for them all to die.

Wait, wasn't his explanation for C an explanation on how it's a good answer?

Isn't his explanation a flaw in the argument? He says "blah blah blah, well if you're assuming all these things why are you so hard on pollutants. You don't even know if they're the ones that are causing most your cancer". But isn't that the point? That the flaw is that you're attributing this pollutant to the cause when you don't know what the cause could be?

I've been reading some suggestions to simulate a modern test for the practice tests, and then "take an extra section" from an older test to simulate how the testing would feel day of. But how do you do this?

Do you make a drill with it limited to "Tags and Preptests" then only check off 1 prep test and then check off all the item tags? What do you do then with the drill difficulty slider? Wouldn't the drill difficulty slider not be in effect if you do this because you're just taking all the questions from a section so you can't control the difficulty?

I don't understand what he is saying of the two "signaling in different directions" and one being "real crime" versus the other being "not the reality". For people to report a crime would they need to have the "impression" that the crime they experienced was a "real crime"?

I also don't understand where E says that there is over reporting. It says that a greater proportion has been reported, but what if that is because there is more crime happening? How would that then resolve the discrepancy? I'm not following where we were supposed to pick up that people are over reporting on crime versus accurately reporting on crime, but still having the impression that there is less crime? #help

So I thought of 26 this way using the following quotes:

"assigning art to a 'shameful destiny'" - Making the goal of piece of art be a political statement is a "shameful destiny"

"literary work must stand or fall on its artistic merit" - Literary work needs to be able stand on its own and be literary work for literary works sake

"artistry is quite simply the ability to write well" - If literary work is going to be considered "art" it needs to be well written, that's all. So, the goal should first be to be your best self.

Therefore for any piece of literary or whatever to even be "art" it needs to be good just as it is first (awww!), then it can go on to do whatever it wants.

And 26 - It doesn't say that chlorine is the only element that damages the ozone? So why would D be right? So what if the element doesn't share a property with chlorine, what if it's just a different element that also damages the ozone??
