I recommend reading Marx's Capital. Not only will RC feel like Dr Seuss in comparison, you'll know a heckuva lot more about how the economy really works.

All we know is that Krall and Delacruz were candidates for the position, Krall was not fully qualified, and Delacruz is. Because Delacruz is described as fully qualified, as is the requirement for internal hires, they could still work for Arvue, meaning this scenario could be internal or external to Arvue. Or Krall could be the only applicant at Arvue, but because they're not fully-qualified, they chose Delacruz, who is external.

We know for sure then that

A doesn't match.

B doesn't match because we're in a two-person scenario. Same with D.

C - Krall could be the only internal candidate at Arvue but because they're not qualified, that would trigger the sufficient condition and lead them to hire Delacruz.

E = Krall could be the other non-Arvue candidate, but Delacruz is hired because they fully qualified. Here the sufficient was triggered.

It seems like there is an explanation where the sufficient was not triggered.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

p.s. In the missing connection section under the stimulus you have

"In addition, we want to know that someone else besides Arvue would be the most productive. This way, we can conclude the company should hire the other person instead of Arvue."
