If you haven't went through the entire foundations curriculum, I suggest you do that. It really helps to address gaps in knowledge. Once you start to understand how the test really works, which requires slowing down, I think you'll see a score increase.

I think you should reach out to the school you want to apply to to see what they recommend. Applying in January could be too late especially for scholarship consideration.

Have you considered looking for investigator jobs for the DA? Most don't require experience and can get you access to the public arena. Probably will pay more than substitute teaching and may be willing to work with you as you go to school. Also look into staffing agencies that place teachers. Offers much better pay. It though right now but don't let that deter you from your dream
