Hope this help
Flights on Delta from JFK to Chicago, under their current limited-time promotion, start at just $189
Hey. Does anyone know how much Delta charge for a round-trip economy ticket from JFK to Chicago?
I wish I was that positive.
2/3 through the LG bundle I am still lost. I'm actually considering a lobotomy just to re-wire my brain to accept the fundamentals of LG.
If anyone knows a good brain surgeon, inbox me.
Sorry for all of my recent posts. If 7Sage charged $10 a post JY would be able to take an extra vacation this year on me.
I was going to shoot for the October LSAT. I did a few PTs last week and didn't improve from my 148 diagnostic. Safe to say, more work was needed.
My solace was deciding to shoot for the December test instead of October. The extra two months alone lifted a huge weight off me.
However, if I can improve my skills by August 1st, I may still shoot for October. My questions is, is 2 months enough for the PT stage? I own a business so am slightly blessed with the luxury of being able to wrap my work up my Noon and devote the rest of the day to LSAT work. So 7/8 hours a day is no problem.
Any thoughts? Should I stick with December or is October still a possibility?
Thanks,
Jim @ the point of confusion
To date I have been through 7Sage twice, the Trainer twice and Manhattan LR twice; my conditional logic principles are strong but I fall apart when seeing it in the form of a written stimulus.
Getting the text translated is fine, but the trouble is working through the "process" of the logic from that point forward.
I think I need to consider other resources out there. Has anyone uncovered anything that helped them in this area? There's boundless virtual beer available to anyone who can assist!
Thanks in advance,
Jimmy the logical reasoning nemesis
I've got a copy of Manhattan LR in the house. Ordered it a few months ago but didn't touch it.
Does anyone recommend it? I've gone through 7Sage twice as well as the Trainer, but always open to new perspective.
Sounds good. Do you think I should do a few tests over the next two days to get some data to move forward from?
And....another question....should I BR these initial tests really thoroughly?
I did my first PT today and, I have to admit, was disappointed with the score (148). BR wasn't much better in the mid 150.
However, it could have just been because it is my first test - a BIG nervous moment I have been building up to since I started studying in January.
Rather than try to pick apart my weaknesses at this stage, I am figuring it may be good to take another 3-4 tests just to build up some analytics within 7Sage. That should then give me a good basis from which to do some actual targeted further study. With just this one test, I'd be unsure where to even start.
Is that sensible? Or a waste of 3-4 more practice tests?
Thanks,
J.
Samsing M2020 is my printer spouse. She always performs perfectly and she only cost me $60!
Got a 148 diagnostic in January and have worked solidly since. Just took my first PT and also got 148.
Feeling deflated :(
I've only been doing each game 4 times, so I've literally (yes, literally) just printed off six copies of every game from sets 1-21, and will spend the next week or so drilling them.
That should help a lot, to flex the inference muscles. Think my error has been moving onto new games too quickly.
I have been studying since January, for the October test. On July 4th I plan to make the big transition to the PT stage for the final three months.
However, I am finding Logic Games to be very, very deadly!
Currently on 21 of 35 sets in the LG bundle and I can still barely complete a game (aside from simple sequencing) without having to turn to the video - and that's after 30/40 minutes on each game.
I read on here of many folks who have nailed LG by the time they start PTing, and I am worried that I have slipped far behind with this section.
Did others enter the PT stage still really struggling with LG? I should be able to improve lots in 3 months, but it's going to need to be done while PTing.
Anywords of wisdom, violin playing, welcomed!
Do you mind me asking what kind of costs it's running at?
That's the only drawback with the Cambridge organizational method.
They sell them already grouped by question type. I suppose I could arrange them into their original tests...but it would be one big few hours of collating!
I'm about to start the PTing portion of my study.
I've also just purchased the Cambridge LR bundle that covers all question types for the section. What's the best way to use it? PT, discover my weaknesses and then incorporate the drilling into my refresher study from the core curriculum and Trainer?
Any advice welcomed!
I'm prepping for the October test....started 7Sage in January and so far have:
- Been through core curriculum twice
- Been through Trainer once
- Done half of logic games bundle (but I'm very slow on building my LG understanding. It's not going too well)
I'm away right now but return on June 21st. Between then and October I need to:
- Complete LG bundle and any associated "re-runs"
- Read Trainer one more time
- Start and exhaust Cambridge drilling packets for LR
- Complete & BR every prep test
- Dive back into core curriculum/trainer as needed
I'm slightly privileged in the fact that I run a business where I can wrap up most days by 1pm and devote the rest of the time to LSAT prep.
Do I appear to be on track, and should there be enough time to cover the remainder?
I'm in a slow-burning freak out mode over the amount of time I have left and all that is left to accomplish. I'd like to do the LSAT in October to get into my desired school's scholarship pool (closes Nov 25th). If I have to push to December I will...but I'd like to avoid delaying to 2017 entry, as I'm getting on in life and it's now or never!
I see there are just over 1000 questions with the Cambridge LR bundle.
Just wondering if they are more comprehensive than all of the LR practice sets with the 7Sage Ultimate package?
Trying to decide if I should buy the Cambridge bundle or just print off all of the LR practice sets on here to drill with.
I have fully completed the curriculum twice and have also done the LG bundle twice.
Haven't done any Cambridge drilling stuff, though. With the 'ultimate' 7Sage tier I felt there was plenty to drill with.
This might be a strange question; hoping I can explain myself properly...!
I plan to start PTing soon for the October test. I've been through the core curriculum twice, the Trainer twice and the LG bundle once.
For those of you PTing, is it normal to start the process without feeling you have a totally firm grasp of each concept? Something inside me is misleading me into thinking that I need to be 100% sharp-skilled and "test ready" for I dive into the PTs. When deep down I know that the extra work that the PTs spur on, in context, is what will actually make me test ready.
So, in conclusion, is it normal to enter PTing somewhat foggy? I don't want to keep feeling I must learn more first, and enter dangerous ground of delaying PTing too much.
Phew - thanks guys.
Now I can relax with no guilt!
I'm about to head off for my first two-week vacation since starting LSAT prep in January.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips for how to cut back while not losing too much momentum? We're not going to have wifi for the final week, and there's lots planned during the trip. I can probably dedicate an hour a day to LSAT early in the morning, before we set off for the day's "fun" (or, marital bickering!).
I was considering taking the Trainer to re-read, and also buying the Cambridge drilling packets to work through a little each day, as well as taking along some logic games.
Any suggestions welcomed!
