Not so sure this is the correct explanation for the correctness of E. A single species is a subset of dinosaur, not dinosaurs in general. For example the T-Rex could have lived for the first 3/4 of the Mesozoic and the Raptor the last 1/4 of the Mesozoic but both are of a species of dinosaur, therefore dinosaurs (exclusive of species) lived during the entire Mesozoic.

JYs explanation of why E is correct is logical since dinosaurs lived only on land and some portion the south was covered by water during the Mesozoic, thus no Dinosaurs lived in the south the entire time.

I initially chose A also and even during the video explanation Jon had made the analogy of putting together widgets in factory A vs. B and for the same job there's no justification not to pay you the same, which is what A is saying. I too thought that ten years doesn't necessarily mean you're always on assignments or have gotten enough assignments to fully warrant meaningful experience.
