@

Do you think it is best to go through the curriculum from the start? Or do you skip around?

Im also curious what LSAT score you're trying to get?

@ Hey so it looks like I am ordering that desk sometime next week. Was it hard to assemble and how do you like it so far?

Thank you @ I shall complete the lessons as you prescribe. I am still a little confused on exactly how many of the problem sets to do though. You basically suggest doing 2-3 sets per question type?

Also, how do you recommend I dill PTs 1-35? Timed section basically? Then go back and attack my weaknesses by rematching the entire lesson and doing more problem sets? Is that right

@ What is your target score and when are you hoping to test?

Target score in a 170. I was hoping to test in December, but @ and many other talked me into waiting until I am ready. So no deadline per say but I would like to take the test and apply next cycle f that makes sense.

@ Yo if I can cop a discount all the better. I will check out ordering all that stuff next week. Do you think the more expensive pencils make that big a difference?

And 7Sage is a must! I think you are the one who recommended 7Sage and this forum to me from TLS when I pm'd you on there a couple weeks ago. You told me to say away from the LSAT for dummies book I was considering lmfao.

Thanks for all your help. I will be in touch Barack ;)

@ I actually got them both for pretty cheap from Target.

Awesome thank you for the links. My wife has a tar jay credit card, so I might be able to swing those this week!

Any other must haves you would advise I buy for my prepping?

@ Where did you get your desk and chair? I like your set up and am looking for something like that but without spending an arm and a leg...

@ while attempting to drown out some doofus practically shouting to the librarian about his favorite James Bond, Godzilla, and King Kong movies; or the small children crying because they weren't allowed to check out a video game.

lmfao! Yeah that is the library I go to in a nutshell.

@ Going through the curriculum the first time, I'd recommend doing two or three maybe- just until you're comfortable with the concepts. I can't speak for JY, but I think that's the intention.

Thank you. So you are saying I should go through the lessons the first time and do 2-3 problem sets (15 or so questions) and then save the rest to drill as I PT?

Do you also recommend that I go through the lessons more than once? That would take quite a bit of time.... ?

@ I've taken a few PTs in coffee shops, to train with some distraction, but for the most part I think home has been best for me.

Now a coffee shop might be something I should consider! I do love coffee ...

@ I have the same story, though my desk (and surrounding surface area) is now a lot messier than is that! I will sometimes go to the library to add some flair to the environment during PTing, or I will use another, much less comfortable desk in my apartment.

I feel like my local library will be too distracting to study in most days. It is always full of children and they can be pretty loud. I might have to invest in a desk...

Thank you, Alex! I just wonder what J.Y. would recommend? I wish the course told us exactly how many of the problem sets to do :/

Where do you guys study?

I'm curious as to whether or not it is worth investing in a desk/study space in my home.

Wondering where you guys study for the LSAT? At home? or do you go to a library?

Also, if you study at home, how is your study space set up?

How many problem sets should I do?

So I'm looking into getting the Ultimate + package eventually when I am done reading through The LSAT Trainer that I was recommended. I see the Ultimate + has the most problem sets.

My question is how many of the problem sets should I do while going through the actual lessons and how many should I save for when I am doing practice exams?

I looked at some previous threads that talk about this, but couldn't find a clear answer. What exactly is recommended by J.Y or the Sages?

@

Thank you for the detailed reply!

I'm a sociology major so I read quite often, although not very much anymore.

So you think I should just focus on the LSAT and not any specific classes?

Also, how long will it take to prep to get a 165 or better?

@ Thanks a million bro! What do you do for work and how to you balance that with studying? Also did any classes you took in undergrad help with the LSAT? I'm going to be a senior and want to sign up for anything that might help?

@ Yooo you are seriously the f*ckin man! I'm going to go with the Ultimate + and utilize the question bank and explanations. That sounds dope af.

@ Thanks bro. The LSAT people suck for that. I guess I will be using my credit cards a bit. The good news is my sister in law has almost all the old LSAT actual books she is going to give me. She studied for the LSAT about 10 years ago and still has her stuff. So hopefully she will have the expensive ones.

@ Holy shit that was inspiring! I definitely need to get 7Sage. Do you mind if I send you a message with some questions. I am wondering what package you recommend and need some help with logic games. Do you charge to be a mentor?

Yo everyone!

I am thinking about getting 7Sage and have a question before I pick which package to buy. I have been watching the free LG explanations on YouTube and keep hearing the instructor keep referencing going through the logic games" bundle" ? Which package includes that? I searched the site and some had said they are no longer available? Is that for all packages?

And if they are no longer available than what should I do instead? It seems like I'm screwed for LG is I don't have access to the bundle. I'm someone who wants to buy the best package and do it just like the instructor said to ensure I can improve on games. They are by far my worst section... Any advice on where to get them? And for those of you that don't have the bundle, what do you use instead?
