This question was frustrating because of how the correct answer choice is worded. Process of elimination shows that B is the only answer that correctly identifies the flaw, but under timed conditions I initially ruled it out. If it had said "not the only doctors highly competent to perform surgery", it would be a lot more clear. When I was doing this question I did not feel like B met the threshold of 'highly competent' or 'extremely competent' as is stated in the stimulus. There simply being other competent doctors doesn't rule out the possibility that general surgeons aren't still the only ones who don't involve highly undesirable risks.

@SerinJ Good to know. I think my biggest issue with seeing familiar questions is that my brain will automatically focus on one or two answer choices and I feel like its impossible to treat it like a problem I'd see on the real thing. Thanks for the tips

Advice for studying for a retake

I am taking my second attempt in August but I feel like I have exhausted most of the questions and PTs available on 7sage. A lot of questions I can probably revisit because it has been a while since I first saw them, but I am worried that when I take a full length PT I will be thrown off by the familiarity of certain RC passages or LR stimuli.

What is the best way too approach studying for a retake after having gone through so much of the available content the first time around? Are there any other sites (lawhub, demon, etc) that have a solid amount of unfamiliar content?

old vs recent LR sections / study tips

I'm registered for the June test date and I am nearly through with the more recent test questions not reserved for full PTs so I've resorted to doing drills / sections of older questions. I mainly study by doing full sections rather than a bunch of shorter drills so my main issue is that I'm running out of sections that fully consist of new questions. I've definitely noticed differences in question structure between the new and old LR sections, but its hard for me to tell whether there is a significant change in difficulty between the two. I have been doing better on the old ones vs the new ones so it could be that I'm finally starting to master the LR section (hopefully) or it could be due to easier questions.

Does anyone know if the old sections are actually any easier than the new ones? If so, what would be a good study practice for someone who doesn't have very many 'fresh' questions left from more recent PTs?
