I do not understand how watching a video can help me set up the game and answer the questions. The video does all the thinking for me, I cannot just watch a video while I am taking the test. Is 7sage able to teach me how to do this, rather than show me the answer?

Learning how to complete logic games

I am having trouble with logic games. I understand what I am doing when I have my tutoring session, but when I am by myself, I have a mental block. I know how to do 1:1 ordering games but do not know how to do the others. I am terrible at math. I did buy a prep test for the games but I do not know what to do. Logic games is my weakest section but I want to practice and learn how to do logic games. I did watch the foolproof method several times on this site, I do not know how to set up the game by reading the rules. Sometimes I am able to discern whether it is Underbooked, Overbooked, etc., but I do not know what to do. More often than not, I guess when I am taking the practice tests. I do not know what to do. Please help!

Practice logical reasoning (blind review method)

I have been watching the 7sage videos. I have tried Blueprint, Powerscore, so I might as well see if 7sage has anything to offer me. I do want to try an untimed logical reasoning section, and explain my reasoning. However, I do have several questions.

  • If I am confident that I get the question right, do not circle the question, but the question is wrong, then what do I do?
  • How can I find someone on the forum to explain my reasoning to?
  • I do admit, in the idea of practicing logical reasoning, there is more sense on eliminating the wrong answers, than knowing off the top of the bat that you have the right answer. One thing I have learned from Powerscore, is to separate the contenders from the losers.

    quest for perfection

I enjoy studying for the LSAT--logical reasoning and reading comprehension. I get stressed out and depressed if I take too long to finish a practice session and get so many problems wrong. I know that I have to practice, practice, and practice some more, but failing over and over again can be demoralizing. It is hard for me to learn from my mistakes, as even if I stop to think and apply logic, I still miss the question. It is like my brain is wired to go fast, as I answer questions, seeing which questions seem logical, which look and sound right. What I have going for me, is my confidence in myself, and the desire to study, to do well on the LSAT. When I did Blueprint, I had gone through hundreds of passages, logical reasoning question, and logic games. I have re-read the Powerscore Bibles, read books on logic, re-read the Blueprint books, also those booklets when I first took their live classes. I had even considered taking a class on logic, from Bunker Hill Community College and Boston University. I am dedicated and passionate about going to law school.

I am willing to work hard for several months--the same amount of dedication that I use for the gym. I am reading and practicing, I just am terrible at my time and accuracy. It takes me a long a long time to get through the Logical Reasoning sections, where I get -7 or -8 wrong. I am happy that I am answering questions correctly; I am skilled at applying logic to the LSAT problems. Instead of retaking the LSAT in September, I want to push for November. I want to answer the questions my own way, using my own methodology to answer the questions.

    Starting over

I have taken the LSAT in June 2018. I scored a 142. I was devastated that I achieved such a low score. I took a sabbatical from studying. I am practicing and studying now. I do not know if I should hire a take another LSAT prep class, use a web site like 7sage for self study, or hire a private tutor. I do not know if I should hire get disability testing for testing accommodations. I do not know if I should just apply to law school with my score. I do want to re-take the test, for a better score. So many questions in my head, so little time.
