Can someone help me define what a "general claim" is? how is a general claim an opposing opinion? wouldn't everything be an "opposing opinion"? #help
i got this question right (my hunch said A) BUT i was thrown off by the "inadequate". can someone explain how they were able to eliminate AC (C) and understood that "inadequate" did not mean "unfair". #help
Do the core curriculum in order and do as many sets as possible. It will help you understand argument structure.

PLEASE-- someone #help and correct me
Sufficient assumption: an assumption that is enough for the statement to be valid/true.
Necessary assumption: subtle, you typically take for granted and MUST exist in order for the conclusion to exist. BUT when it comes to validity, it does not need to validate the statement.
However, although theoretically i understand the concept behind it, when it comes to application i struggle and end up confusing them.
Someone please help.
