If you can achieve mastery when practicing under difficult conditions (i.e., lesser time than allotted), then you can surely excel and feel confident, relaxed, get in the flow when you have beneficial conditions

Work will always expand to fill the time allotted.

-Even when I added the extra 50% to my practice, it still took me more than the time allotted (52 minutes.).

-Scores are fairly consistent unless you're rushing haphazardly. I found that when I reduced my allotted time from 52 min. down to 35 min., I began to receive the same score per section as before.

Just some things I found helpful!

Are you doing blind review, or are you just drilling, drilling, drilling? Are you drilling on the same questions over and over? Have you tried getting a tutor?

Get. A. Tutor.

You have blind-spots. If you could see your own blind-spots, they wouldn't be blind-spots.

If you could have done it on your own by now, you would have. You absolutely need a tutor.

If you've already done tutoring, find a different/better tutor.

Good luck.

I couldn't do logic games for the life of me until I hired a tutor. Within a few quick sessions with a good tutor, I improved significantly at games.

First, amazing job with the sobriety!

Is it lawyer-like to begin talking about your personal life when you're trying to make a stellar first impression? Even if you frame it in a way that makes you look good, its still unnecessary and unprofessional. With regards to that time off from school (which I went through, too, switching schools 3x due to personal issues), all you have to say is "It took me some time to mature and grow up, which is why it took me longer to graduate." That is literally all you have to say, and its very respectable.

Not everybody will be as supportive of your journey as they are in your support system... trust me, I know from personal experience.
