This question is bizarre to me because typically, we aren't expected to draw normative/prescriptive inferences from passages that are purely descriptive. Some big corporation could easily try to justify incinerating appliances containing heavy metals on the basis of economic considerations, the environmental ramifications notwithstanding. Corps make arguments like this all the time in real life. So how are we justified in drawing a subjective claim such as B from a purely objective fact set? #help
